Went to this place since my daughter and I found it empty @6pm,! The food was great! Really good sweet potato tempura and veggie shushi. Will definitely go again.

Delicious food and good service. Asked the waiter what sushi roll he recommended and I was not disapointed.

Having loved Jing since our first visit in 2003 (when it was still China Garden, I think), we were really disappointed by our last visit. All of the chicken dishes tasted as if the chicken was old, the shrimp was fishy and tasted as if previously frozen, and the walnuts in the crispy shrimp and walnuts had a bit of... More

My husband and 13 year old son visited jing restaurant on the last night of our holiday in New York after reading reviews on trip adviser and we were not disappointed. We got a table straight away. The food was excellent my husband and son had ribs to start, i had a spring roll the only critiscism was that you... More

I was extremely disappointed by my recent visit here. Had frequented this restaurant in 2008/2009. First time back in years. I give this a 3 out of 5 solely because my son's meal was not bad....but not great. Lunch special of pad thai with a starter (I chose edamame) was $7.50 - can't beat the price but have never had... We spent 5 days in New York and we tried this restaurant on our first evening. We were surprised to find this quality Asian food at a very reasonable price. We loved it so much we came back two days later. Once again we had a very pleasant and tasty dinner. Their Sushi looked also really good. The pictures I... More

Ate here tonight with the family before seeing a show. Called them ahead of time to see if reservations were needed. A very nice lady answered, told me reservations were not needed but she would reserve us a table. Arrived and was seated immediately. Ordered the Hunan tofu, A.A. Jing tofu and chicken with broccoli. All the food was well... More

We had an awsome tartare out of salmon, tuna and white snapper and as a main the yummi taki and the crispy kings prawns - fantastic food in good atmosphere, at reasonable prices. Will definitely come back.

My wife and I love Asian food, and we have found a new favorite restaurant we will return to every time we're in New York. I had the the beef and broccoli, and my wife the pepper steak, the best we ever had bar none.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
