This place is overhyped. Despite a reservation, we still had to wait 35 minutes for our table. It appears this is normal. My sister warned me that when she had gone to this place, she waited 1 hour despite a reservation. The management has a...problem with honoring reservations that needs to be sorted out. Hostess told us that if we didn't want to wait, we could eat in the bar. She was incredibly grumpy and acted like we we were some imposition on the restaurant. I declined to eat in the bar because we had reserved a table in the main restaurant. 35 minutes later we were seated at what seemed like a makeshift table literally in the bar section, immediately behind where the bartenders handed drinks to the servers. Had I known I was waiting 35 minutes to be seated in the bar, I would have just sat in the bar 35 minutes earlier. The food was average. Out of 12 or so small plates between 3 people, the best dishes were the nigiri and the beef skewers. But honestly, if you're craving nigiri just go to one of the high-end sushi restaurants in NYC and if you're craving small cubes of sirloin doused in sauce, no need to pay exorbitant prices for it at this place. The 2 stars are because the waitress was wonderful. Unfortunately, one excellent waitress amongst a sea of mediocrity isn't enough to make me come back. A "Catch", this restaurant is not.More

Visiting New York and went here to celebrate wife's birthday. We loved it. The waiter was exceptionally well versed and was very knowledgeable. The specialty drinks were terrific Offer a gluten free menu. Split caesar salad and burrata. Steaks were done to perfection. The cauliflower...steak was the best vegetarian meal my wife and daughter ever had in a restaurant. For desert we had the snickers baked alaska. A perfect ending to the meal. Came with my wife on a 5day NYC trip from UK and was recommended this place by a friend who also frequently visits. If you like a fast paced restaurant (without the feeling of being rushed as a customer) with a good buzz and atmosphere...then this is your place. We were seated by the friendly waiting staff who then proceeded to kindly explain the starters and mains which we were inquiring - good knowledge and even better recommendations with the dishes as the food was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again during our next trip to NYCMore

Walked in and felt welcomed, the staff was super helpful. All the dishes we ordered were really good, great place to go to the bar and grab a delicious cocktail.

Exceptional service, although everything I called to confirm was not available at the restaurant out of Wagyu, no more flask. The things that I enjoyed in Las Vegas I wasn’t able to share with my family and friends here. I leave a tip for the...establishment when a guest calls to confirm and verify you have particular dishes be honest. I love the establishment so much we still would have come. My host was delightful, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. Nice save Catch!More

Absolutely awful. 3 nights in NYC and this is the only night I had book a restaurant as I have been wanting to go here for a while. Arrived and they couldn't find our reservation at first, took 5 minutes to do so and the...girl at the desk seemed like she couldn't give a damn, then we were ushered into the bar with a buzzer. We arrived 15 minutes early anyway so I was expecting to sit in the bar and have a drink first. Restaurant reservation was for 8:00pm, so at 8:15pm I went to see how long it would be. I was informed 5 minutes our table was just being cleared. Again my husband then went to ask at 8:30pm to which someone said they were going to check- they never came back to us with an answer At 8:45pm enough was enough, the buzzer was still no going off and no one had come back to us with an answer, so we just left. Felt like if they can keep customers waiting for that long they didn't deserve our money. Plus they were extremely rude every time we asked how long. We shouldn't have even waited that long. We ended up in TAO, which was a 2 minute walk down the road and it was definitely worth it. The food was incredible, everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was so much better. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to dine it that area.More

We were here for my son’s 29th birthday. We started with a large seafood tower. We shared a bunch of appetizers and entrees. We had various sushi and sashimi, wagyu gyoza, chicken lettuce cups, lobster Mac and cheese, tomahawk steak, crispy chicken bar buns. For...desserts we had The Carnival, Pistachio cheesecake and various sorbets. Everything was very good. Our waiter was great and the atmosphere was nice. It has a very cool vibe and there is a rooftop bar as well. Will be back again!More

Catch. Well, I know this place is popular with a young demographic, but I did not have a good time. The drink was nice, service was quite slow and it seemed as if it took a long time for the hosts to sort themselves. The...food was totally not memorable, and the seating is uncomfortable, very cramped to the point where it impacts your experience. I dined here before a concert with family, and it was supposed to be a really nice experience, but it was not.More

Food was amazing, especially tartare trio and hit me cake. Busy bar, lots of people and nice atmosphere. The cocktails we had were also great. But we spent 20 minutes at the bar before we were seated. One of my fav spots

I enjoyed meal here and their drink specials. With our open table reservations we were seated right away, actually early but we were a party of two. Food was excellent, came out fast and service was perfect. It was expensive and seating was cramped.

Very casual, but the crowd is pretty NYC biz casual. There's a bar adjacent to the restaurant so there's a lot of action going on. ...mingling and drinking, etc. All you'll need is your wallet! 😀

There are not water activities included in the all inclusive treatment, you can drink every kind of alcohol you want. It's a cool hotel.
