This was an adorable place for tapas with friendly service and very charming rustic decor. We had tapas and cocktails. Recommend!

Come here for lunch! I had the chicken paella for one with sangria. It was perfect! The rice was just right and the chicken breast strips were marinated well. On the side, was a grilled lemon and aiolli cream sauce to add to the flavor. Our server was Catalan and was very pleasant and friendly. My child had the toasted... More

Definitely not pleasing at all, by no means. Tasteless, way over priced compared to what they provide. Should be avoided! Lots of alternatives in Ny !

Tertulia is not really fancy. It kind of resembles a Spanish Tasca a bit, but ge food.... Oh the food!!!! Every plate we have had there (been four times already) is perfect. Service is adequate. They are professional and corteous. The wine list is impressive, with a very good selection. Tertulia is a place where we will keep coming back...

We literally stumbled on Tertulia by accident last October while looking for somewhere to share a glass of wine and have a bite before heading off to a nearby show. We love sharing "small plates" or tapas and the menu created by Chef Seamus Mullen and his team did not disappoint. We sat up at the bar and found the... More

As many other unfortunate diners, we headed to Tertulia because they said that the chef came from Boqueria, the latter being a fabulous tapas restaurant where we'd eaten for a third time just the week before. But then again, perhaps they omitted that the chef had been run out of Boqueria for his inability to master what's needed for quality... More

I was visiting NYC alone and staying in the West Village. I went for Sunday brunch. I had a warm welcome from the host, and the decor - especially in the back part of the dining room - is very pretty, rustic, courtyard-esque. I had a great cocktail (the blood orange and Estrella Damm one) - sorry I can't remember... More

My husband and I met up with some friends here and really enjoyed our experience. The food was really delicious. My husband and really enjoyed the "Nuestras Patatas" but were disappointed that they had ran out of churros that evening. I am looking forward to going back in a few weeks while in NYC.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
