Seinfeld fans, soup fans, this place is for you! Lots of soups to pick from. Love that every meal comes with bread, fruit and a chocolate. Reasonably priced. Walk a few blocks and enjoy in Central Park!

We went here because of the Seinfeld episode and thought the soup was great. The guys working were actually very nice. We tried the chicken tortellini, and it came with bread, Lindt chocolate, and a plum for around $8. We would go back here for...More

Had to try it and it didn't disappoint! Lobster bisque was so flavourful with large chunks of lobster meat. I ordered the large bit wish I had gotten the extra large. My wife had a small pea soup with ham and a small broccoli and...More

If you want a not so standard lunch: go get yourself a delicious cup of soup with some bread and an orange. Walk into Central Park and enjoy your cheap but very tasty lunch!

Established in 1984. In 1984 we opened our doors at 55th Street & 8th Avenue in NYC and quickly became a worldwide destination serving incredibly delicious and unique soups & Lobster Roll sandwiches. Rated #1 by Zagat and praised by the New York Times as "Art, not Soup," we set the standard for culinary excellence long before the famous "Seinfeld" episode made us a cultural icon.
