Loved the food, loved the service. Have never eaten American biscuit before, it's cake! So yes it's not an everyday place to eat but for a treat it's fun and tasty. Good product and well priced, very casual - but also good level of cleanliness.

I had the caesar salad with friend chicken and it was delicious. My husband and the chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. The sandwich was good and the mac and cheese was awesome. Great little casual place. We met friends for lunch after walking around the Village.

Chicken is nice and crispy. Right amount of seasoning. Kale and cornbread hit the spot. Nice to know you can have a drink if you choose to. Friendly staff. Definitely Recommend coming here.

Stellar chicken, low key, casual spot, lovely spots to sit by the window & enjoy. Hot sauce on the table. Succulent rotisserie chicken ... moist & delish. Served on glass plate! And cutlery. A fav! And they deliver!

This is my go to place for fried chicken. I used to live in the neighborhood and would bring home dinner from Dirty Bird. I now live in Connecticut. I get into NYC at least twice a month and still return to Dirty Bird for fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, mac & cheese and cole slaw.

Bar tender across the street told us to try this place, and I'm SO glad we did!! I had a sandwich and devoured it! My BF had the wings and mashed potatoes... he was thrilled. Not a cheap fried chicken place, but the staff was awesome, and the food was memorable. That says something!

Yummy chicken dishes with a side of sassy attitude. Love this NYC institution. Not cheap, but worth it. RIght now it's undergoing a big renovation. Check it out when you can.

I regularly get take away from Dirty Bird. It is a little hole in the wall where you could sit and eat, but more of a place to take away. The chickens are cooked very well and have always been moist. The smashed potatoes are great! I usually also get the seasonal veggies, but have constantly been disappointed. All in... More

My recent visit to dirty bird was much much-anticipated due to the hype around their chicken sandwich! I was surprised at how small dirty bird was but since it was just me and one other person it worked! The hype was around the chicken sandwich but I seen a guest eating chicken tenders that looked amazing. So I asked the... More

The chicken & sides are good, but not outrageous, especially considering this fast-food place isn't cheap. 1/4 white chicken & sides runs about $15 -pricy for what it is. Only a couple of seats in a no atmosphere spot.
