Great food

Had lunch here with a friend. Great steamed dumplings and Shanghai fried rice. Very reasonable and good service. Definitely recommend this place.

Visited this restaurant this evening with my partner and eleven year old son. Very cramped service as they tried to pack people in and rush people out. Firstly we were given our bill after our appetisers!!!! Secondly visiting the restrooms and finding a 'chef' appear without washing his hands and a waiter appearing to do the same from the ladies... Came here for a lunch on our way through China town in NY recently. It was absolutely delicious! I used to live in Shanghai and this is the closest thing to real Chinese food I've had in years! The dumplings were superb and the value of the traditional dishes on the lunch menu was fantastic. 2 sets of dumplings, 2... More

My fav Chinese restaurant in China town because of its delicious food with such reasonable price. Not the best service, but for the food, price and simplicity, I have been going back to this place for over 5 years. If you are visiting New York and would like to have a simple lunch/dinner, this is the place

We visited here after massages in Chinatown. We ordered the following: scallion pancakes, Shanghai wonton soup, turnip pastry, spring rolls, spicy tai-Chen chicken and house special rice cakes. Wonton soup is delicious especially with a little soy sauce. Also, it's quite large and better to share with three to four people. The turnip pastry is very good especially with hot... More

Food we ordered was absolutely disgusting bland no taste and the Kung po chicken was NOT Kung po chicken. When making a complaint the manger became very aggressive and insulting saying that everyone else enjoyed the food and it was just us that was complaining. Felt really insulted and uncomfortable. When refusing to pay the bill the staff surrounded us... More

Fast, brisk, welcoming and efficient service with multiple servers, always with a smile, led to a very tasty, well-prepared dinner for four from delicious green vegetable and mushroom dumplings, steamed crab shumai to thick and sweet chicken with corn soup that cost so little and could have fed ten of us, to delectable Chilean sea bass in well-seasoned brown sauce... So we went here purely on the reviews of others... Well I can't say they were wrong. This was a great place, with fabulous food & really attentive staff. How many places do you go where you are told you've ordered too much & should scratch something from your order!! What we did have (hot & sour soup, vegetable steamed... More

We went to this restaurant at about 7pm and waited half an hour for dinner. This is a popular restaurant as it has won awards and is mentioned on some travel sites. We had been before so returned knowing it would be good. The Chinese steak special was so tender and tasty. Everything is good here so you can't go... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
