A little Paris is Manhattan! Visit was totally unplanned and spur of the moment. The moment was mid afternoon and it was a treat to the soul. Lovely and small but full of macaroons and atmosphere. A cup of tea, a macaroon and an egg salad tea sandwich! You should go and enjoy the moment!!!!

My family and I had a very good experience at this patisserie. The desserts are ornate and inventive, with delicious flavor combinations. They are also surprisingly inexpensive. The macarons, on the other hand, are more expensive. We ordered a box with one of every flavor and shared each. The experience was highly memorable as we sampled each of 15 colorful... More

We stopped by after going to the Frick Museum since it's on the same block (2 min walk). It was around 1:30pm or so on a Sunday. They have several small round tables at the side of the store that serves as the tea room. It's best for couples or groups of two since it's harder to fit more than... More

We went to sample the macaroons. They are a little pricy, but very good. The servers are not very helpful, but the macaroons are delish! The flavors change with the seasons. The raspberry, strawberry, and coffee were the favorites in my family! Worth the trip for a snack and coffee when in SOHO.

My friends and I stopped in to Laduree for an afternoon treat. Our waitress was so sweet and let us try a rose macaroon before making our selection. We all LOVED our ice cream and macaroons and had to order some to go! If you have the time definitely get a table and enjoy the ambiance!

We never pass up a visit to Laduree on Madison when we come to the city. Always delicious and FRESH macarons with the most interesting flavors and the prettiest packaging. It's so hard to pick just one of each. Expensive but so worth it. Treat yourself.

I decided to dine in at Laduree after a Summer Stage Concert with my daughter. I can't stand the concept behind marking up the same pastry 3-4 dollars more just because I'm eating it on their Laduree plate as opposed to taking it to go in a box. The service was slow. I had to ask for the menu and... More

We enjoyed the fois gras macaron, along with salad and eggs Benedict, and, of course, the macarons. The food was outstanding! I'm not sure if the service in Paris is slow, but our service was slow, and I had to ask for my tea three times, as well as the dessert menu and my check. I would have thought service... More

Laduree makes outstanding cakes. This is a small venue with only 3-4 tables, but we got lucky and were seated straight away. The cakes are expensive but worth the price. My favorit is the raspberry & passionfruit tarte.

Laduree is our favorite macaron shop in Paris. My daughter was very excited to visit the New York shop and she was not disappointed. This location has 6 tables. We were able to sit and have table service. Fabulous macarons & service.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
