running around business focussed Midtown Manhattan as a stranger I was happy to find this cosy little place, in the neighbourhood of some further small Restaurants and markets. this one is kind of a self-service coffee bar plus a wide range of fastfood snacks, fruits and cakes to take with you or consume there. Not overcrowded, it is calm and... More

Line out the door for lunch is a good sign. They move you through quickly however with great sandwiches at great prices. Saw the salad bar in the back and it looked enormous. Ate upstairs which was nothing special but nothing wrong with it either.

Large variety of sandwiches, massive hot/cold salad bar @ $8.99 lb., baked goods, snacks and drinks.Friendly staff, quick service. Seating upstairs was a little warm. The Reuben sandwich ($7) was very good.

I was craving an egg sandwich and stumbled upon this place. They made me a terrific breakfast sandwich, completely customized to my liking and finished in a hurry. This is my new go-to for a quick breakfast. They also have an amazing selection of chips. The salad bar in the back was just getting set up, but it looked like... More

This isn't Katz's or Carneige - full of tourists (not that there is anything wrong with that). This is just a well organized market serving great food to locals. Nice salad bar and good selection of snack items. Express order the cheeseburger - it's one of the best I've had and you don't have to wait in line! Small seating... More

We stumbled across this place in NYC looking for lunch but somewhere we could have fresh made sandwiches amde for a long train journey we had that evening. This market met those needs and was a great find. The choices for lunch were amazing from freshly cooked wok meals to fresh deli sandwiches to an amazing hot and cold buffet.... More

Such a brilliant place to visit for a quick cheap lunch, full of busy New Yorkers grabbing lunch, sandwiches are gorgeous, the staff are so friendly, they made me a columbian style sandwich which wasnt on the menu I just asked for their recommendation, it was delicious

I had a corned beef sandwich for $6. No it wasn't overstuffed like the Carnegie, but I also didn't need a second mortgage to pay for it. And it was delicious -- just as good as the big name delis. There is seating upstairs. This is a no frills, delicious experience.

Great sandwiches and very reasonable prices. We got the reuben sandwich which was great and the chicken salad sandwich which had lots of chicken in it. Highly recommended.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
