We heard the line tends to be long for the bakery so waited until very late at night for our visit. Amazingly still busy at 9:00 p.m. but we were in and out quickly. The bakery is very pretty in all white and very clean. There really is no where to sit and enjoy your selections so be prepared to... More

On my tour of Rockefeller centre, we passed this cute little bakery. Our tour guide said this bakery is incredibly popular, partly due to the fact that it appeared in one episode of Sex and the City. After our tour, we wanted a classic New York Cheesecake, and went here. While it was very busy, and crammed with people, the... More

I'm going to be 100% honest when I say the only reason why we went to this place (originally) was because it's mentioned in the SNL Digital Short "Lazy Sunday". Worth the trip though! The cupcakes were good. They have more than cupcakes so don't think that's the only item. Agree with some of the other posters that the set... More

Husband and I popped in here after he noticed the long line which of course intrigued me, since long lines in NY usually mean something delicious (but not always - I'm looking at you Halal Guys). Anyway, we go in and order 2 cupcakes: German Chocolate and Chocolate Buttercream frosting on a vanilla cake. Our mistake is that we didn't... More

Bit of an odd set up. We wanted some brownies and one cupcake, we had to make two orders to different people and then they questioned why we only wanted one cupcake... Well there are four of us and four items because that's what we would like...?! All very odd. Then we encountered our third person who was very brash... More

Dragged poor husband in here on our way to Top of The Rock. Seen it in SATC - and thought why not - well almost $4 for a cake - no smiles from the team behind the counter - a small cake too and in this heat - yeah - not the greatest cake experience - don't need to go... More

I went on the recommendation of some friends and was so glad I did. The regular banana pudding was rich and delicious but the chocolate banana pudding...I went back for more :)

I am (was) a fan. I have their baking books and I bake quite a bit so I was really keen to go to taste their products. The cakes looked good. We didn't want something too big so we went for cupcakes. two red velvet cupcakes for the adults and one vanilla for one of the children. There was too... More

We were in the area, and not to go and sample a cake would be classed as pure madness however going to buy cake at 2300hrs could also be classed as pure madness. I'm not sure what I was expecting after sll the hype, the shop is a small quaint setting and more importantly not in your face. We opted... More

Their icebox cake is a favorite in my office. They have a large variety of cupcakes and other pies. Great customer service and always so friendly. The place is always so spotless.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
