Wandering Greenwich Village, we had a yen for gelato, and googled our way to Amorino. Elegant little shop with a fire place, where we waited in line for exquisite gelato - as good as any we had in Italy, and almost as good as our favorite spot in Philly (sorry New York). We were dying to try the hot chocolate... More

Took my son for ice cream after a day at the museum. We loved it. Many flavors to choose from and can mix them on your cone or cup. Will make this a mother son tradition.

I had Amorino for the first time in Boston, so when I was in NYC, I had to try this location to see if it was as impressive. I was so excited to bring someone who loved gelato and had never tried Amorino; it did not disappoint! The cones are beautiful and you're allowed to include as many flavors as... More

This is an ice cream parlor. You get in line, pay and receive the flavor you want in a cone or cup. Coffee available. The prices are high. You are hassled for tips twice. When you pay by credit card, the cashier turns around a screen, that in a large font suggests a tip. To not tip you have to... More

Stopped in for a small treat on the warm first day of fall and I am glad I did. The gelato was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful by friendly fun loving employess. They had about 30 flavors of gelato and sorbet available along with macaroons and a full service espresso cart So in and enjoy. Prefect anyday but especially... More

How many flavours can you fit in a cone?? Well you chose! You don't pay per scope you pay for the cone and whatever you can get in it! In my husbands case 4 flavours. Recommend the pistachio and the hazelnut flavours as my favourite, at least from this visit!!!!

The way they serve your cones, like a blossom flower, never seen it before... They have good ice cream, but my delight was speculos, the Belgium cookie!! Mmmmm it really tasted to the original cookie. Also a good thing is that they have Chocolate Sorbet, so if you can't have dairy, or you are Vegan, you can still have Chocolate... More

This place is worth the wait. We didn't know what to expect when we were arriving at the gelato shop. When we walked around the corner, we saw a long line, and hectic workers. We got a little pan flit with the favors. You can get a cone in which the out the gelato in a rose format. I just... More

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
