This czech restaurant has a very good offer. Simple but tasty menu makes it a great choice when visiting the big apple. A wide variety of Czech beers and great wines from all over the world makes a wonderful complement to its savory cuisine

Hospoda is unique in its ambiance and menu. I don't drink beer but my friends were pleased with the extensive menu. The food is creative and delicious, though a little on the heavy side. It is surprisingly expensive for the neighborhood. Think it is likely...More

When Hospoda first opened I was very excited to try it. My family was always a frequent diner at the original Czech restaurants along Bohemian Broadway until Vasata closed in the mid 90s. Since then the only options have been Koliba and Zlata Praha in...More

This was my first experience with a Czech restaurant, and what a bar has been set! This is a fine dining restaurant with a sparse, hip, NYC vibe. The waiters are attentive, greeting you at the table with a foamy, Czech beer, very welcome after...More

My second visit to this relative newcomer was even more satisfying than the first. Hospoda serves delicious food, although in relatively small portions by American standards. Everything was outstanding--from appetizer (a flavorful risotto) to entree (a perfectly cooked cod with roasted heirloom carrots) to dessert...More

From the first step into the restaurant until the delectable dessert a few hours later every course was a delight. Upon arrival you are greeted with some sweet beer, a light foamy head of the house stalwart. Drink it quickly before the foam changes to...More

The food, service and atmosphere were all great. Our daughter found this restaurant when we were looking for something different. We were extremely impressed. The experience began with a small sample of beer, followed by a sip of an appetizer that contained butternut squash and...More

First there was the restoration of the BBLA, then they topped it off with an amzing restaurant, Hospoda! On a recent Friday evening, I was fortunate to meet a friend there and partake of some amazing Czech "bistro" delights. The decor is ultra contemporary and...More
