My daughter and I are staying next door at an amazing hotel: The Pearl (will write a review on that soon). So, we thought we'd try the restaurant out our first night here. It was a quiet little place during the 3 o'clock hour and our waiter Josh C. (or at least that's what our check said) was on point!... More

Great service Very attentive but not overbearing server, no rushing. Was very observant able to discern what we saw, engaged the kids in our group and then unprompted presented a revised check for the meal with the 10% discount that he knew was on the ticket we had for the theater!! We were about to ask him having forgot about... More

Good restaurant, good food, just not very personable service. I know it is New York, but I still expect the waiter to try to connect at some level with his tables- such as make eye contact :)

Hi Georgia, We thank you very much for taking the time to review us and for bringing your observations to our attention. We apologize our service was not up to par during your dining experience with us. We typically receive great feedback about our service, so this was very disappointing to read. We are immediately addressing this matter and are... More

We made a reservation for Christmas Day to have a nice dinner before our show. Our reservation was for 5:15 so we would make a 7 show. We arrived early and was seated immediately, thank goodness. The menu was a preset menu which we had no idea would be the case when we reserved or were called to confirm. The... More

My husband and I had dinner at E&E Grill House before going to the theater. We chose a three course prix fixe, which we thought was an excellent value. The country salad was a good sized portion and the salmon was perfectly grilled. The chocolate peanut butter pie was rich, but light. The staff was friendly and attentive. A very... More

It can be challenging to find a place serving food between 3.30 and 5 in this area, outside cafés. This place does and the food is rather nice. I had the tofu and kale and it was delicious! Plenty of meat here of course but the salad looked tempting too.

It's quite possible that for many this was a five star dinning experience, but unfortunately for us this was not the case. My girlfriend and I came here for my birthday dinner and it proved to be very disappointing. The Margaritas were very nice and served in generous amounts. The salad with beef tar tar was quite nice as well.... More

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on Sunday December 11. My wife ordered a cheeseburger, which she said was very good, and I had the grilled cheese and bacon, which was also good. After we ordered, we were told that the restaurant had run out of French fries...say what?? How do you run out of fries @1P... More

Had a reservation at 6pm. We were seated promptly, however, that's where it went downhill. Waited 25 minutes to receive our first round of drinks and to place our order. We both ordered filet, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese. Asked for another champagne. Did not get refills in a timely fashion. Server blamed every other staff member on his... More

We stopped for dinner on our way to a Broadway show. We estimated to be more than an hour before but that was unnecessary as the cooking and service was very fast. The quality of food was good and recommend this as a pre-show restaurant.

Description
E&E Grill House is a neighborhood restaurant surrounded by the marquees of Broadway theaters in historic Times Square. We treat all our guests like celebrities. Our calling card? We are a grill house-the fun, more dynamic cousin of the steakhouse. We serve excellent food at fair prices with an emphasis on grilled items and the freshest ingredients. Our menu has tasty dishes that delight vegetarians and fish lovers, - but it's our steaks and meat selections that satisfy a carnivore's cravings!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
