I've been to Sprinkles, been to Magnolias and they can't hold a candle to the cupcakes from this place! Absolutely delicious, many selections, great coffee. They even sell $1 mini cupcakes so those of us who are, or should be, watching our sweet intake, can imbibe without guilt!

It is in the same building as my office and that is honestly heaven sent to me. The have a happy hour from 1 pm - 4 pm and my small iced coffee usually costs 1 dollar. If I need a sweet fixing, they're right downstairs. The staff is always kind as well.

The old Crumbs Shop was amazing. Best cupcakes I've ever had. I was excited to see that they have re-opened in NYC. Not so excited after eating there. Service was terrible and the cupcakes were somewhat dry. The lemon one was remotely moist. Not worth the walk from our hotel nor the price. Sprinkles is not as good as the... More

The mini cupcakes are the trend. The mini cupcakes are good and aren't to big. Mr. Raspberry and Mr. Chocolate were great. The berry iced tea was also good. Crumbs Bake Shop is a good place for dessert!

Crumbs has a great variety of cupcake flavors and the cupcakes are large, But..... the cupcake itself was dry and lacking flavor. (Suggest ordering a glass of milk on the side.) The toppings on the other hand are fantastic and very generous portions. It is my kids' favorite snack stop in NYC. For me they were too expensive.

This place made me sad. The employees weren't friendly, their gluten-free selection was all prepackaged stuff and their regular bakery display case was old looking. Two in our party left without getting anything.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
