Visited on 26th December. Just arrived in NYC, and this was near to hotel. Walked in to great, warm atmosphere. Loved shared tables. Menu was fun and enjoyed our bratwurst. Delicious Black Forest Gateaux

We had the pork shank for two with sauerkraut and roasted potatoes (new experience, always had mashed potatoes with this meal in PA Dutch country). The meal was very good, so was the pint of “original” brew that I had with it. I enjoy the...More

I would give this restaurant 2.5 stars, but that option was not available. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, the interior of the restaurant felt very festive since they had strung up lights in the inside for the holiday and that is...More

Good find in the heart of Manhattan. Good beer in proper litre glasses. Didn't have the food but all looked pretty good. 2 pint boots of beer are a must along with the 5 taster flight.

We found this place by accident but glad we did as the German beer was great! Had a fantastic burger and fries here, there was live music and a brilliant atmosphere. Staff were friendly and in traditional dress. You can sit inside or out on...More

Few pleasures can compare to a quiet afternoon spent on the terrace overlooking 2nd Avenue, consuming glorious liter-large steins full with the Original Lager (or any of the other darker varieties) and tasting the Bavarian fare. Service is excellent and you get to meet many...More

We sat at the bar which was a good choice. Service was great, fast and friendly. The beers were nice and cold and a great selection. Food was good although I have had better bratwurst and German potato salad but can't complain about what they...More
