A nice touristy place to visit have something to eat at the Chelsea Market. Overpriced but good was good. Their chowders, soups, rolls and Bisques were quite authentic. They also have a great takeout counter and countless variety of Raw Shrimps and seafoods. Well worth a visit if you are at the Chelsea market but not worth trying to make... More

Great service, great sushi. A pretty good selection and all of it very fresh. You can buy fresh fish, lobster, or sit down to eat sushi, cooked fish or lobster. Worth checking out if you are in chelsea market.

My nephew was an NYU student and he introduced me to the Chelsea Market. I was not as cost efficient as a college student and suggested having lobster in my hotel. My nephew took me to The Lobster Place and he treated me to a Jumbo Lobster more than two pounds. It was only US 60 dollars and they steamed... More

Fresh seafood is one thing. But the preparation, presentation, and staff service are the main reason I strongly recommend this place. It's perfect for any special occasion. It's in a pretty convenient location (sort of) and is amazing. Not sure what to get? Try their lobster and shellfish! It can't go wrong!

We each had something different....all was excellent. Very crowded and noisy. You stand at tables to eat, but a very cool, chaotic place. Fun!

Come to Chelsea market early to pick your fresh seafood. Had the crab cake and lobster soup absolutely delightful. Abit expensive but since it's fresh it's worth it. Not many places to sit so expect some standing.

Perfect ratio of mayo to lobster. This was a meaty tasty lobster salad with minimal mayo on a buttery toasted roll. The sashimi looked incredible I will be back to sit at the sushi bar.

All kinds of "Yum" in this place! Lobster rolls are built well with huge chunks of lobster meat and all the fixings. Lump crab rolls are just as tasty and satisfying as the lobster rolls. This place can even FedEx crab, fish and lobster to your front door. Inside Chelsea Market.

The Lobster Place is a great place for lobster - the place itself is quite crowded and not very cozy, but if you are prepared to get some looks (and questions on where you bought it!) bring your lobster up to the highline and eat outdoors. Don't forget to bring lots of napkins and make sure they melt the butter... More

I thought the lobster roll here was awesome! Fresh and huge chunks of lobster meat. I saw someone earlier complain of a lot of sauce and veg on the roll but mine didn't have anything on it but a very, very small amount of lobster and a piece of lettuce which I just pulled off. Definitely not an inexpensive meal... More
