As fresh as you can get in NYC. Delicious King Crab. Great environment for food lovers. Also lots of options for take away and have a nice pic nix on the High Line. Tip for celiacs, they have GF soy sauce!

During our 2 week stay in NYC, we came here for lunch not once, but twice! Hubby and I are huge Boston lobster fans! First time we came, we had the large sized (2 n half lb.) ones that cost about $60, the 2nd time we ordered the jumbo sized (3 n half lb.) about $80 with taxes. Fresh, sweet... More
So I made it finally to TLP, fresh , fast and fun place to have a good food. Service is as should be every where fast , smile and clean. The lobster is the star if the show 👍🏻 Oyster is fresh and so delicious 😍 Soup is 👍🏻 Only reason for 4/5 it's overpriced 💸. Enjoy there ,
Whenever we feel like to have a simple but good lobster feast, this is the place to go for sure. The lobsters are fresh and good as usual and to top it off with one of their chowders is just heavenly. Although the wait could be long sometimes, it is worth the wait.
While I didn't go here to eat, I did have a craving to seafood. The place changed since i was there years ago. There is a sushi restaurant in there. There might be other small food vendor in there. The amount of different seafood is amazing and it is fresh too. If you don't like seafood there are plenty of... More
We were out for a stroll along the "High line" when we dropped into the Chelsea market for a spot of lunch. Decided on the Lobster Place as there was a busilling atmosphere. Really clean, good service, excellent variety of seafood to choose from. Opted for a small (1&1/2lb) lobster, tasted great & washed down with a Greenport beer. My... More
In the busy hub of Chelsea Market, lies this little treasure! Tiny by comparison to larger New York eateries, this tiny place packs some punch. The menu is incredible, a choice of oysters, almost tapas style, lobster, fish, salads....and fresh. The lobster roll and fries is out of this world. The roll is falling apart by its overloaded lobster filling,... More
Very casual fish market style restaurant. There are ice filled displays with a beautiful selection of fish and crustaceans. They cook lobster on the spot and offer a variety of sushi and prepared salads like tuna fish and lobster salad. It's a busy place but all of Chelsea Market is filled with tourists.
