For the price, freshness, selections, can't best this seafood food hall inside Chelsea Market. Try to be there by 12:30pm to avoid the lunch crowd. Everything is good there, lobster, clam chowder, oysters, crabs... we went with 4 people, total spent about $120 bucks including each with a glass of wine and all walked out satisfied

Without question the Chelsea Market should be on every NYC visitors list who likes good, inventive food. So many great places to visit from halavah bakers to inventive Mexican cuisine. The real play, though, is the sushi bar at The Lobster Place. Yes, you will get a little jostled. Yes, it's an ever changing scene of people. No, you won't... More

This place is heaven for any seafood lover. We ordered a sample of different oysters and the sea urchin to share. The oysters were fresh and delicious and I thought the urchin was really good as well. We also had one of the better bowls of clam chowder I've had in NYC and a plate of lobster dumplings that were... More

Three of us had two 1-1/2 pound lobsters and a poboy sandwich. Everything was so delicious and fun once we donned our rubber gloves and dug into our food. Only drawback is that there's standing room only and very crowded during spring break.

I have been craving wild Long Island little neck clams, since I now live in Los Angeles and they are more common on the East Coast. This place had them for only .95 cents each!!! I ordered half a dozen by the counter and they were so fresh and briny and tasted just like the clean sea. Amazing! A great... More

This is a fish market and restaurant. It reminded me of Spain, it had a tremendous amount of sea food, including all types of oysters, they also have a sushi bar and good sake.

Missed this place so much! Lobsters are huge and reasonably priced. Though it was quite packed and you have to serve yourself, it was fun and oh so delicious! Can't miss this place when in NYC!
