We came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was filled with school kids on a field trip... we were told they were having a special buffet so we assumed we'd get great service... we didn't. Completely ignored... after 30 minutes and only our app, we said we had to leave soon to make it to a matinee...... More

Our Tour Manager took us here for dinner. The ambience was very uninspiring as was the food. The chicken achari was tasteless due to a large amount of chillies. The sweet dish was halwa which was nothing to talk about. I wanted a glass of Soda. The owner before serving me said that they charge 2 dollars as if I... More

A friend of mine asked to have dinner there and was a bit hesitant as I did not hear of this place before. But in reality was pleasantly surprised, as the food was spot on. Had a vegetarian dinner and the samosas and Saag Paneer were cooked and spiced exactly to my liking. In any case a solid good option... More

The areas has lots of Indian restaurants. Our Tour Manager took us to Tamba. The Buffet arrangement is poor due to size of Hotel however the seating arrangements are much better. Food is limited but good. The sweet was good. Service was poor

As a parent of a toddler we can only go to so many kids friendly places and this happens be one of them. Like the environment and staffs are kids friendly. Get for family who is trying to enjoy a quiet dinner night. We randomly choose this place and we were happy with everything but the food. The food gets... More

Considering other excellent options in NYC, this place falls short. We also had to deal with a busload of package tour - made for lengthy wait. There are several better options within couple blocks.

My husband, teenage son, and I ate at the Tamba Indian Grill and Bar on this past Sunday evening. Generally we do not eat out as the food that we make at our home is better than most moderately priced restaurants. However, we had a groupon and decided to give it a try. Wow- we loved the food. It was... More
