We had a $109 Groupon which included 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 sides, 1 bottle of house red or white wine, 2 desserts, 2 coffees or teas. The menu had 2 completely different side-by-side pages. One side had a "regular" menu with individual, itemized prices...More

Two of us went here for brunch and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and the service friendly. The filet I got with over easy eggs and potatoes was really excellent. My friend got eggs benedict and really enjoyed it as well. Our waitress...More

Staler Grill seems to keep alive from it's generous Groupon offers, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is real meat - and lots of it. real potatoes, real tables and real waiters, all in a real and size-able atmospheric space in midtown New...More

The hostess smelled like a cigarette and when I ask her to please wait for the rest of our party she rolled her eyes and smirked at me. Then when ordering I ordered the French onion soup as an appetizer. The saw that the crock...More

The food was okay, however, they were understaff and the service took forever. If your dining to just hang and socialize, then it would be okay. The unlimited mimoas and bloody mary's were average. It is in a beautiful hotel and location.

After buying a Groupon along with over 5000 other people, we went. They have a Prix Fix Menu. Husband ordered the calamari for an appetizer- extremely greasy. I ordered the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad. 3 little pieces of each. We shared the porterhouse steak...More

Had a lovely dinner here. Warm welcome, and delicious food. Started with steamed mussels, caesar salad, bisque, and calamari, followed by pasta, and three sirloins. Then NY cheesecake for dessert, and espresso, coffee, and tea. A much enjoyed meal. Friendly service. Recommended.

Alissa was a great, nice server in training! Her trainer, Edward was way less friendly. The matre'd even less friendly. The food was good. Spent double what our groupon was! But, as I said, Alissa and the food were really good!

Went here with mother aunt and girlfriend. Got groupon for 4 for 100 which included unlimited mimosas. They were only refilled once every 20 minutes. The waitress had a really bad attitude. The eggs were over cooked. We asked for 2 coffees and were billed...More

The Statler Grill harkens back to the golden age of the big band era, and is named after Ellsworth Statler, who ran the Hotel Pennsylvania from 1919 to 1954, when musicians such as Tommy Dorsey, Count Basie and Glenn Miller played at the Cafe Rouge, the hotel's main dining room. The Statler serves classic New York steakhouse prime steaks and chops as well as daily delivered fresh seafood, while the bar and lounge serve a delicious grill menu. Located just steps away from Pennsylvania Station and Madison Square Garden, it is the perfect place to have a breakfast meeting, a meal before an event at the Garden, or just to relax with friends and co-workers during happy hour before you hop on the train. It is all about the food and service says owner Joseph Lavelle. "I want my guests to enjoy themselves, have a great meal and return again and again".
