This restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere and service. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I would recommend Blue Haven if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed.

A friend and I had gone to a bar in Tribeca and they were closing early and the kitchen had already shut down. He thought maybe we should try this place as he lives in the area. It was fairly crowded when we arrived with...More

Husband and I were in NYC (hotel in SoHo) and needed place to watch the College Cup soccer finals. Given that sports bars almost anywhere are wall-to-wall NFL. We walked that way, stopped in just just after they opened and asked if they might have...More

I was walking around NYC, it was my first time there. Around 12:30 I was hungry and thirsty, that much walking made for beer-thirty! I wondered in, the bartender was nice, I had an appetizer and a beer. They had a great selection of beers,...More

Blue Haven is a great neighborhood sports bar with way above average sports bar food. Our (mostly young adult male) family's favorite is the Chicken and Biscuits which has never let us down, order with scrambled, not fried, eggs. Pure comfort food heaven.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
