We met some family and friends here for drinks and food. The food and service were very good. Everyone enjoyed their time.

Popped in most evenings during our 5 night stay - just for drinks at the bar. Friendly local bar - good range of beers & wines. sports on TV. Busier early evening very quiet later.
Mac n cheese was excellent. Creamy cheesy, pasta firm. Everything else was good. Sausage is hotdog-like but tasty, perfectly cooked. Try the Kansas molasses sauce. Yummy, zingy, not too sweet. The restaurant is at street level but there are 3 steps down to the bathrooms.

We had lunch at The Mason Jar on an extremely hot July day in Manhattan. The staff was friendly, the beer was cold, and the food was delicious. It was so hot, I ordered deviled eggs because I wanted something cold. My 8 year old...More
We went after the SC Gamecocks won the elite eight in NCAA Men's Basketball. Everyone was dressed in Garnet and Black. The crowd was so excited, everyone was friendly. The upper level ran out of beer.
Visiting NYC with some friends and we decided to check out the Mason Jar. It was a fun place with authentic southern BBQ type foods. There just aren't many (if any) places in the city where one can get collards and beef brisket so if...More
nice open space, smells like bbq and wood (nice smell though), but not a cheap place. I was there with 3 coworkers for lunch and there were only about 4 - 5 tables at most while we were seated and the service was slow and...More
