Atlantic Grill was recommended by friends, and was a great place for a group dinner. Broad menu with attractive, tasty food and smooth service. Lots of seafood options, including cod, tuna, branzino, & salmon, plus shellfish. Dinners about $60 per person without alcohol. Recommended
We went for brunch on a Sunday -it was delicious and we had a choice of a complimentary cocktail to go with our brunch which was a nice touch. the service is very good and I do like the setting and the tables.
My spouse, two friends and I had a lovely lunch at Atlantic Grille during Restaurant Week. The service and food were outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly received . The food was delicious - an incredible value for a fixed price. I...had clam chowder and jumbo shrimp. The chowder was rich without being heavy and well seasoned. The shrimp were cooked just right and the presentation, with vegetables, was both lovely and scrumptious. Our friends ordered salmon and each specified how they wanted it cooked. The salmon arrived just as ordered and they both enjoyed it. I can't remember what my spouse ate but he was pleased with his choices as well.We couldn't resist dessert and were not disappointed. The carrot cake pan cotta was good, but the chocolate tart was really the star - truly fabulous. Even though the restaurant is a bit pricey ordinarily, I would definitely return for a special occasion.More
We met NYC friends here for some catch-up conversation. We had the 3 course dinner and they seated us near the back of the restaurant in a nice booth. All courses were excellent and the service was spot on. They did not hurry us and...we enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. The chocolate dessert was outstanding; we could have shared 2, but ate 4...yummy!More
We came here after an event at Juilliard and mixed in with the pre-opera crowd. The place is definitely happening on Saturday, it was very full and we were glad we had a reservation. Food was good over all. My daughter loved the sushi rolls,...and our main courses were good, although the tuna was a bit tasteless (I guess this is how it supposed to taste?).
Anyway, the service was good as well. Although it's a bit on the expensive side, we had a good dinner.More
My husband and I had a very forgettable meal here on Saturday before the theater. If you eat here, expect it to be loud, expect to wait for a table even if you have a reservation, and expect your server to be too busy to...give you proper service. There was nothing really to complain about, but there was nothing to compliment either. Just completely forgettable. We had mussels to start, and they came out very quickly. They were good, not great. Had better, had worse. My husband ordered the crab cake for his main, and he liked it. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were fine, but after they came, I realized my mistake. You don’t order shrimp tacos in NYC when you are from Texas, where the tacos are excellent! The shrimp was very good, but the rest was, well, forgettable. We ordered cappuccino which was fine, except they came with plastic stir straws instead of spoons. Whaaaat? When we were able to track down our server, he apologized and brought us real spoons, although they were soup spoons. Whatever. Like I said completely forgettable. It felt like a chain restaurant. We will choose a different restaurant the next time we go to Lincoln Center. I will say, everyone was very nice, and they got us out in time for our show, and it’s right across the street from Lincoln Center, which is convenient.More
This is an excellent restaurant in a great location. You can be close to Lincoln Center and have a good meal or drinks. There is an excellent price fixed menu for $50.00. Yes, pricey but compared to regular menu items it is a bargain. Note...that it is quite noisy so plan accordingly.More
Definitely....and the staff is wonderfully helpful from the front door to whatever is needed. I have been there twice as an "out-of-town-er". Each time I felt that I was everyone's guest...not just my waiter's customer... More
