We had breakfast one day, lunch another and each was an experience with great food and service. Diner style cuisine with panache. Service was top notch professional and we were well guided through the menu selections. Close to NYU in Gramercy area.

We tried many brunch places. From cheap to fancy ones. This one is definitely on the cheap side, and yet it's the best we've had so far in nearly 2 years in the city. It was fast to get a table (Saturday, 11:30am), the service was fast and great, and the food was awesome. We tried the eggs Benedict, crab... More

Busy is the first thing I will tell you about this restaurant .. It seems that a lot of people like to eat between noon and 2pm on the weekend .. It's no different here and the wait which isn't too bad reflects that .. Lots to choose from with eggs Benedict , pancakes , French toast .. All good... More

Nice place. Centrally located. Loving the brick wall and hard wood floors. I really enjoyed my French toasts with lemon curd and raspberry sauce. Unfortunately, do not expect fresh squeezed orange juice.

The Bluebell Cafe is not in the most touristy part of New York City but it's all the better for that. After another day pounding the pavements of the Big Apple we found this place not far from our hotel. Everyone else in seemed to be local which is always a positive. My choice was the roast chicken in barbecue... More

Came here for dinner after a long day walking around the city. It was nice to sit down in a calm and quiet place to enjoy some delicious food. For starters, we shared a side order of fries (hand cut, really good!) and I had the roasted beet salad with goat cheese and candied pecans - wonderful! Entrees included the... More

Went to the Bluebell Cafe before a comedy event and we were seriously impressed. Often, we found it difficult to eat tasty healthy food but it came in abundance here. Chicken wings are to die for. Service from Erica was fantastic. Totally recommend it! Well done!

What can we say? We just by chance happened to see this place while walking on Third Avenue in Manhattan. We were hungry and the menu had quite a variety which for my daughter and wife made it all the more appealing. The waitress was pleasant and offered us some of her suggestions when we were undecided. No pressure at... More

Such a nice place and everything tasted like it was prepared with care. Chill atmosphere and service with country-style decor. Got a great sandwich - chicken caesar on baguette that was super yummy with a really tasty glass of lemonade. Both the sandwich and the drink are the perfect examples of simple things prepared exceptionally well! We all enjoyed burrata... More
