Good spot for post-theatre cocktails

The bar upstairs was a great spot to grab a cocktail after seeing a show. The menu has classics and some interesting specialties. The rum old fashioned was excellent.

Famous chef aside, this restaurant was a great deal for restaurant week 2016! All the dishes we tried were flavorful and appropriately sized and the broken arrow ranch venison pate en croute was worth the $10 upgrade. The restaurant is really inviting downstairs and trendy looking upstairs. Live jazz topped off the experience.

All in all a great experience! My only reservation was that the front desk was very cold to me and my wife. Otherwise the food was wonderful, I had the best ravioli dish of my life! My wife wasn't thrilled with the service but the food more then made up for it!

We wanted to try Geoffrey Zakarian restaurants. He palm was our first but we didnt find booking so we came here. It was our first night in NYC celebrating our anniversary. I loved the place, cozy little bit crowded seating wize but nice, The fireplace gave the evening warm wintery feeling, The food was lovely, although not much of choices... More

Came here with family for restaurant week at the Bar. It was delightful. The food was delicious and generous; tuna tartare was fresh, Italian burrata was creamy, pork belly was tender and the sauce not too strong, the scallops were flavorful, and the desserts weren't too sweet. The service wasn't particularly friendly but was nonetheless very good, never rushing our... More

This is a classic old school midtown New York restaurant and bar. There is a small bar when you enter and one upstairs. It is dwarfed by the size of the restaurant, but can be a good place for after work or pre-dinner drinks with friends. The bar staff is friendly and helpful. At dinner the waiter suggested a wine... We ate at the Lamb's Club Bar during Restaurant Week 2016. Excellent food. Avocado soup with various veggies enjoyed by 3 of us. Delicious... could have been hotter. One had the Shaved Fennel Salad with Grapefruit. Excellent and very beautifully presented. Two had The Lamb's Club Burger, each nicely prepared and cooked as requested. Roasted Diver Entrée beautiful with three... More

Very expensive and not quite sure why. Food was completely average and the desserts were actually not good. The one good thing was the service which was great. It's also very sparsely decorated and not great for large groups because sound travels.

We went in after a show for a cocktail and a bite to eat. The place was nice to look at but we waited a long time for service and our drinks were small and expensive. Wouldn't go again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
