We recently ate at the Lambs Club restaurant prior to a 7:30 pm mid week theater performance of the "Waitress". We arrived a bit late but that did not deter the staff from insuring we were attended to with courteous efficiency. The food was very good and they made sure we were on our way to the theater in time... More

I was so excited when I made this reservation but I was so disappointed with the service and the outcome of the evening. From the rushed service-literally a manager type guy said to us "You need to go ahead and order your meal because we have a full downstairs and you won't get out in time for your play!" Umm-... Very good inventive expensive food, excellent service BUT - you enter the restaurant from a very busy street and the chaotic tempo persists inside. The atmosphere is simply not relaxing and the quality of the food does not compensate.

Enjoyed a delicious meal during the NYC restaurant week with two great friends. Although we had to specifically request the special restaurant week menu, once it was in hand, we had a memorable dinner. I enjoyed the burrata appetizer, the amish chicken and the steamed chocolate cake. Great choices - our waiter was very accommodating, light-hearted and thoughtful. Hint: don't... More

Went there with my 5 and 1/2 year old daughter and my mother. Three generations and we were all very happy. We sat upstairs so it wasn't as classic as the dining room downstairs. That's fine because my daughter would have made a big fool of herself in the dining room by climbing around or walking around. The food was... More

Well worth the $29 prix fixe lunch. App: Sweet Corn Bisque/Lobster/Pepitas/Tarragon (chilled, very very good) Entree: The Lambs Burger/Challah/Cabot Sharp Cheddar/Shallot/House Cut Fries (No regrets!) Desert: Steamed Chocolate Cake/Cherry/Cocoa Nib/Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (That scores a wow)

We dined here with a 530pm reservation before an 8pm show and were out in plenty of time to make curtain. Initially we chose The Lambs Club because of the extensive wine list and for the fact that we were celebrating a birthday and a reunion, but after reading reviews we were excited to try the highly rated food. We... More

The decor and atmosphere were delightful. As one reviewer noted, the furnishings bring to mind an eatery from the set of "Mad Men." More importantly, the staff were attentive and gracious and the meal -- corn bisque soup and succulent and tender NY strip steak cooked to perfection -- were was excellent.

I was staying at the attached hotel, and had a wonderful lunch in The Lambs Club. Service was very professional, and we had a lovely meal.

Enjoyed our dinner last evening. We chose the Restaraunt week menu. Truly delicious. Started with the burrata followed by the crispy chicken and dessert. The chicken is a signature dish. Service attentive and the outstanding breads were top notch. Only negative was a malfunctioning men's room facility Which I reported to the hostess.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
