Great food at very reasonable prices in a mellow, unpretentious, laid back setting with great service and music.

Friendly staff and attentive service, VERY good and filling food. After having breakfast here we skipped lunch as we were so full! The Breakfast Platter was perfect with buttery toast, crispy bacon, a wonderful sausage patty and delicious potato/onion hash. The eggs had perfectly runny yolks, and the OJ was wonderfully fresh. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially for the... More

On the endless search for small unassuming Diners and coffee shops in the city, that don't have music blasting, or charge absurd prices for dreary-fancy food, I was delighted to find the Path Café steps to the East of the Christopher St. Path station. It seems as though this place has been here since the '60's but in fact has... More

Good sandwiches and salads at good prices. We found it casually. An easy place but friendly staff. To remember visiting Greenwich

I was staying in Jersey City and using the PATH to get to Manhattan, this place is right beside one of the stations. I had a great breakfast - banana pancakes that were freshly made and service that was friendly. They were a bit rushed preparing lots of take out orders but that dis not mean any huge delay.

We called in to use the restroom and stayed for a couple of drinks. Decor is fairly basic but there was an open mike night on with some great singers so was enjoyable. Barman was from Ireland and was very friendly. We were only in the area as we were going to an event in Hudson River Park. If you're... More

Wanted a relaxed evening and ended up at Path. Good beer selection and very friendly staff. They have live music every night, free wifi and a good selection of food. A nice place to chill out

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
