So pretty....quite romantic, yet friends would also love the decor. The food was good. Some might say small portions, but, oh well. You can get filled up on eye candy. The staff were very pleasant.

This usually is a very good Italian Restaurant. The food is always good and we frequented it often. But on Monday when we went there for dinner there was no Scotch. I mean, I tried to order Dewars and the waiter said they were out of that. So I tried Johnny Walker and they were out of that. As a... More

My wife took me to Villa Pacri for my birthday in June. It was very romantic and private. We sat on this half-moon shaped couch near the fireplace. Service was wonderful. We have an extensive wine cellar and brought one of our botttles to the restaurant. A moderate corkage fee made it worthwhile. The food was delicious. The menu was... More

We loved this restaurant, everything was good. I do not remember it as being expensive. The spinach soup with fried mozzarella espuma was so good that we went back two days in a row

Villa Pacri came highly recommended to us, so our group of 5 ate there this past Saturday nite. Everything was exceptional! The decor and lighting is very comfortable and pleasing. We were seated at a corner 'round' booth, so that we all had a view of the room. There was a DJ playing some '80s and current pop hits w/... More

i had one of my best dinner experience at La Gazzetta! Food is delicious but the service done through eastern europe ladies a bit unprofessional. I asked twice to change seat when i went there in october 2011 and they were acting like i was asking them their blod, totally unacceptable considered the level and the price of the restaurant.... We stopped into La Gazzetta unplanned, as we happened to be in the neighborhood one afternoon. The outdoor sidewalk seating would have been a nice place to enjoy a meal on a warmer day. I had a simple pasta dish that was very tasty and a great tasting Bellini. There were a number of specials on the chalkboard, but i... More

Restaurant highlighted in 2012 Michelin guide as "the well executed Italian cooking is delicious" and "the irresistible pasta dishes will have you licking your plate clean".

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
