If you're in the Tribeca area, you would definitely want to stop by and try out Lekka Burger. Very Comfy setting with A warm decor & Great food to match the vibe. I'll start off by saying they have one of the best Vegan Cheese's I've tasted (Very Hard to find Cheese Alternatives); So the Cheese Fries are a must. It reminds me of Cheese Fries from Shake Shack if not better! The Fried Mushrooms are also really good as well which you can consider a good duo with the fries. They also have a seasonal Caesar Salad that's def worth getting whenever it's available. Not the biggest fan of the Burger but to each it's own. Definitely one of the places added to my Rotation of Vegan restaurants in NYC. I'll be back soon!

This was my first time at a Vegan style restaurant. I had the Peri Peri Burger. It was amazing. I would definitely return when in NYC!

This vegan burger restaurant is fantastic. Outstanding quality with friendly, knowledgeable staff. My vegetarian wife and I found it by chance in Time Out on our annual Thanksgiving pilgrimage to NYC. It was started by the owner of Dirt Candy, to which we treated ourselves last year. Good news - you don’t have to save up so much to eat at Lekka

I’ve been to this place pre Covid and was super and the food great . So we decided to go there recently, started off great, they instilled a new system and we ordered and waited …we picked up our drinks , then shortly after two side orders came , great.
Then clients came rolling in and we waited for the burgers and we kept seeing burgers go out by the bag full. I asked and even the waitress remembered and was surprised . So after a long wait which they obviously forgot the rest of the order , it came to the table with another screw up in which they brought double sides out for each of us …which we didn’t order …we looked at him and he looked at us in puzzlement , you didn’t order this , he asked ….clearly back of house is a bit messed up …could have been a bad nite …but we didn’t enjoy the escapade. Even though the food was good ….I won’t return til I know the management gets there act together.

We had such high hopes having heard great things about Dirt Candy.
It is so exciting as a vegetarian/ vegan to be able to eat everything on the menu!
The burgers were fine- a dense bean patty, the buns nice, the fillings quite standard. The fries were really very dry and over-cooked. The burnt broccolini caesar salad was possibly the best thing we ate.
There are many restaurants doing vegetarian burgers nowadays and for us the burgers we had at Lekka were I suppose a 7/10.
The staff were exceptional though- warm, informed, pompt, professional!
