As good an Italian meal as I ever had with a very welcoming staff. Looking forward to visiting next time in town. Veal Marsala, Spaghetti Bolognese and fried zucchini chips. Perfection

Excellent food and drink. Prices reasonable. Service was a bit laid back but we were not in a hurry. The "Smithsonian" was an excellent mixed drink.

Il Punto is one of a handful of fine restaurants in the Hell's Kitchen stretch of Ninth Avenue. You will enjoy the cooking as well as the professional staff at this comfortable place that is' open all day. If you're thinking of a cappuccino or grappa at 3:00 don't hesitate to walk in. You will be welcome.

What a treat! Calamari! Caprese salad! Lobster ravioli! Fettuccine al carbonara di zucchini! Finished with almond pastries and classic tiramisu...and a little grappa. The food and service are amazing at this neighborhood gem.

Found this online and trusted the good reviews - well worth it! We had an absolutely delicious dinner. Service was fantastic and prices not outrageous for NYC. A short walk from Times Square and theater district. Highly recommended!

Used Trip Advisor and this place came up high for local to our hotel. We weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, nice bottle of wine, great food. Nice a warm in a freezing NYC.

We came here before theatre on a Saturday night as a last minute reservation. It was meant to be. My girlfriend and I split the duck breast special and the chicken with cheese and asparagus. Both were delicious. She enjoyed the minestrone soup and I had the special salad. After coffee and tip the whole thing was a little over... More

Found this restaurant through Trip Advisor when I was looking for a restaurant near the theater on 43rd St and 9th Ave. What a find. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were excellent. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had their veal marsala. Their version is not veal scalopene but a veal steak. The veal was like... More

Il Punto continues to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NY City. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are outstanding. The menu is full of delicious items with some unbelievable combinations of taste and texture. In addition to the normal Italian fare on the menu, there is always some special items that the Chef has prepared for... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
