Pizza is spectacular. I had the loaded pizza, it was a full meal! The tomato sauce is home made and the ingredients taste fresh. I'll come back here for sure.

Being based in an hotel on the edge of Hell's Kitchen and fancying pizza, I researched Tripadvisor and decided that Capizzi seemed the obvious choice. I was not disappointed. Situated close to some ongoing redevelopment in 9th Avenue, smallish in size with cramped two-seater tables, the restaurant is hardly the site to impress someone on a romantic evening but any... This place makes the best pizza! Perfect thin crust wood fired with excellent sauce and the freshest of toppings and herbs. Would not hesitate to eat here again!

A lovely little pizza place on 9th avenue we stumbled across whilst out walking. Great pizza, friendly staff and refreshing homemade Sicilian lemonade. For 2 pizzas, 2 beers and a lemonade we were just over 50 dollars.

We were recommended to Capizzi's by friends who had stayed at a hotel nearby which we also stayed at. Its an unassuming restaurant with about 10 tables at the most. We had a couple of pizzas and they were delicious, can't comment on the desserts as we were too full after the main to fit anything else in! The staff... More

This restaurant makes the best pizza I have ever had. The service was a bit slow the night we were there, but the wait was worth it! They make a thin crust pizza, with the freshest toppings, like Prosciutto, basil and mozzarella. It was very tasty. It felt like we were in Italy as all the young waiters spoke Italian.... More

Had a small margherita and a large euro--the toppings were fine, everything seasoned beautifully. And if the wood-fired oven crust to die for (it was), the tiramisu and pannacotta were waiting for us in heaven. My only regret is that we won't have a chance to dine in. The waitress who helped me was super efficient and pleasant, and the... More

Stopped in to have real NY pizza after a boat cruise. Nice family style atmosphere and very friendly. Pizza was amazing and sauce was the key I thought.

Slightly of the beaten track but busy and popular with locals. Only pizza but very good pizza and a nice traditional feel about the resturant.

Thank Tony H

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
