This is a homey, simple and unassuming coffee shop where you’ll be treated as family. If you can say a few words in Spanish even better! The place is super clean. The coffee is great and fresh, and the owner serves a delicious eggs and...sausage at a bargain price. The only negative—they don’t accept credit card. Bring your cash and enjoy!More

Walked for breaky on a rainy morning.ordered the Dominican breakfast. Don't forget to pair with the coffee. Good for a quick one. Just check your bill after if correct.

I was here for breakfast and chose the American kind. Nothing to complain about and very price worthy. Actually quite a few sit down tables available even though most other customers sat at the bar. Would love to come back and try the Dominican breakfast....Welcoming and casual atmosphere although mostly Spanish spoken with other customers so I had no idea of what they were joking about.More

We LOVE this place. Eating in or ordering out, Milanes won't disappoint. It's a very authentic place that takes cash only. Keep in mind the portions are huge. We usually order the pernil, the short ribs, and the stewed chicken. All come with yellow or...white rice and black or red beans. Their small house salads are great as well and come with beets, which I thought I didn't like until I tasted them in the Milanes salad. Everyone there is very nice and they're patient with me when I try to order in my broken Spanish. Really delicious and the price is right as well.More

We ended here by the a recommendation from a New Yorker waiting to get into the overcrowded Johny's down the block. It was a total win. We had our first Dominican breakfast. The service was great and the food tasty and unique to us.
