Lavo has an amazing Sunday brunch that we had yesterday. They were "prepping" for the Easter brunch in a month, and the selection of food was huge. Started with a classic bagel and lox. The lox was fresh and amazing. Next was a selection of...More

We tend to visit Lavo every time we visit NYC- the food is great, and fresh the portions are huge and the atmosphere is always very friendly. The prices are mid range, which makes it a great tourist spot for lunch and late afternoon wine.

This place is a JOKE. We didn’t eat here but tons of reviews about hair in food so I’m glad we didn’t. Doorman is rude and on a power trip, who discriminates on who can come in based on what they look like. Racism and...More

Visited Lavo last year and was impressed by the Italian feeling and the good food. Revisited, and it was as good as last year.
