Lavo has an amazing Sunday brunch that we had yesterday. They were "prepping" for the Easter brunch in a month, and the selection of food was huge. Started with a classic bagel and lox. The lox was fresh and amazing. Next was a selection of...More
We went with another couple and each of us ordered a prix fixe lunch. For appetizers three of us had the mussels and one a tuna tartar. We all thought our dishes were excellent. For our entrees two had salmon, one had the ribeye steak...More
Vary varied menu. Right by the Plaza hotel if you happen to be staying there.
No need to dress up. We got there at 7:00 and had no problem getting a table although any later you would be wise to get reservation.
The salmon literally...More
Stopped in on a whim around 5 pm during a weekday while exploring the area....cold, hungry, and thirsty. Able to snag a small table in the bar area. Lots of beautiful people hostessing. Bar was packed with business people who seemed to all know each...More
We tend to visit Lavo every time we visit NYC- the food is great, and fresh the portions are huge and the atmosphere is always very friendly.
The prices are mid range, which makes it a great tourist spot for lunch and late afternoon wine.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
There aren't rockets for the club that I know of . I've been told by friends who frequent having dinner there doesn't help much you have to wait on line to get in. You can reserve a bottle service table for that evening by... More
