This pasta is amazing! Ask for recommendations and take them. We split the kale Caesar salad and definitely big enough to split. I had the spinach ravioli…omg it was awesome. Husband had the bucatini all ‘amatriciana and it was awesome. Truly enough for three people...and so enough to have some to go. Great affordable bottle of wine. Still not sure what we had for dessert but it was amazing! Again…ask for and take the recommendations! Great service. Can’t wait to go back!More

First time at this restaurant and we will definitely return. The food was really delicious, all the pasta is handmade , we all had a different dish and everyone was delighted. I chose the Salmon and it was just perfect, with crispy roasted potatoes, outstanding....For the city and the quality of the food I thought the prices were reasonable.More

You could eat here every day. The pasta is homemade, varied and amazing. The appetizers are amazing. The Owners and Staff are amazing…and it is reasonably priced. My suggestion? Bring a friend, get a good bottle of wine, order 3 appetizers and split a pasta...dish. You will be full and happy. You will swear to return with another friend. Easily as good as the best Italian cuisine in the city, at a fair price, and with a laid back atmosphereMore

I've always loved their food! They opened at the end of 2019 and now they came back stronger than before! Great dishes, the octopus pasta is a MUST! The fresh Tuna Tartare deserves his part as well. We ended with delicious cannolis and a limoncello...shot! Definitely recommended!More

Really good Italian food. The pasta selection is solid and I truly recommend the pasta al giusto. The service perfectly matches this place’s fine fare. The waitstaff led by their manager Laura are friendly and efficient. Worth a second visit

I went there with my friends and we ordered bruschetta as appetizer: delicious! The manager helped us with a great choice: Octopus Pasta - a MUST have! The rest of the staff was very nice and polite and I felt like home. I’m Italian and...it’s hard for me to find a good place with authentic italian food and a perfect balance quality/price. I’ll definitely go back!More

Being Italian, my husband and I wanted to try this new restaurant that we had heard well about. We started with the pepata di cozze and moscardini in umido as appetizers. Both delicious. We then continued with rigatoni alla carbonara and tonnarelli cacio e pepe....Both excellent, especially the cacio e pepe, which is creamed at the table, in a wheel of pecorino cheese. The portions are generous and we no longer had space for the promising sweets. However, they offered us two small cannoli that we enjoyed, really tasty! Attentive service and friendly staff, especially Domenico who cheered us up the evening. A must try if you want to taste real Italian cuisine.More

Very nice food, great service and company! I went there with our very nice italian friends who lives in NY and they invited us to live a real italian home made pasta experience... And that´s exactly what it is! Thanks a lot for that night....The food is amazing and the people who work there, including Luigui (the owner) are wonderful guys.More

After reading a review of Pasta Eater in the New York Times, my husband and I decided to have dinner at this newly opened eatery. We were not disappointed despite not enjoying a glass of wine. At this time they do not have a liquor...license. Recently, I returned to have dinner with my daughter and granddaughters. This time we brought a bottle of wine. Again, we were not disappointed. The kale salad and our pasta meals along with the attentive service were very good as well as the complimentary cannoli. Since it has gained popularity, it is good to make a reservation. And ....Don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal.More

We stumbled across this restaurant on our way to Union Square and wow, what a find. Five stars is not enough. Both the service and the pasta quality are exceptional. I had the Pasta Giusto, which was prepared tableside and it was incredible. My wife...had the trocolli pasta with lobster which came with part of the lobster shell and was loaded with lobster chunks. We can't wait to come back, As you can see by my other reviews, I am a very critical reviewer, but I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are looking for the restaurant, its on the north side of 17th Street, about half a block west of Union Square.More
