We decided to have lunch before concert. Belgium food is one of our favorites, so we decided to check out B cafe west. We made reservation s on opentable.com five days prior. The doors and windows were opened, that told us no air conditioner. However it was breezy inside. Even though we arrived early, we were seated in about 5... More

This is a great spot for mussels at very reasonable prices, with a very nice selection of Belgian beers. The decor is ok, the dining room is narrow and long, but it didn't feel crowded when we were there. The mussels pots are very generously sized, I had them with a beer sauce and garlic, which was delicious. The service... More

Small space but they take reservations. We went for Mother's Day, and got a table all the way in the back near the kitchen so it was a little busy. There were two other tables that were really tight next to us. Really more for two but they were trying to push them for three or four. The bistro is... More

This is probably the worth food you can find in Manhattan. Overprice. Most of the plates that people return are half full. Hiding under pretentious name "B Cafe" as a Belgian restaurant.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We couldn't get a reservation till 8:30 because they were all booked up - good indication of it's popularity! We enjoyed some of the delicious sharing plates to start with, especially the "bitterballen" and the cheese croquettes. We all had the mussels and frites which were supposed to be the best in town. We... More

The restaurant is long and narrow. A cozy feel. Seating is tight but you can definitely have a nice conversation without yelling. Had the salmon. It was very good and nicely prepared. Service was eh. Berries for dessert were super delicious.

If you love juicy succulent mussels in luscious broth this is the place on the West Side. Fries also terrific. Largest selection of beer and ale you've ever seen. Desserts are non descript. Service can be spotty when busy which is always.

The upper west side has many restaurants, but I think most of them are not worth my time and money. However, B Cafe is one of my favorites. I love the mussels frites and all the fish and seafood dishes. They have a nice wine selection as well. The restaurant is small and cozy and welcoming.

I love this place! The beer, mussels and frites remind me of my years spent in Belgium. Explore the beers! This is not a plaice to order a Bud. Try a Westmalle Tripple instead.
