It's All About the View!!! By far my favorite NYC experience. Hidden on the top floor of the Textile Museum on Columbus Square, I recommend this restaurant to everyone for the views and the wonderful food.

Great food, unmatchable location, good service. Worth reserving and ask for a window table, great views over the park.

Our experience at Robert was a highlight of the NYC! It is another level of dining in every capacity and very reasonably priced compared to five star service and dining and view! Just incredible! An experience to remember!

I asked fellow 'Trippers' about this restaurant before booking and got great recommendations from previous diners. We aren't generally Fine Dining diners though when we do we ensure that we have a memorable dining experience. We were on a four week holiday for my husband's birthday and wanted to experience a New York restaurant which wasn't gimicky but based on... More

Firstly, the views over Central Park are amazing and really worth paying a visit to Robert. Service: the initial welcome was very nice and professional. Our main waiter was very efficient, friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, and it saddens me to write this but it was an issue, one of the other waiters (a very tall and large person) had a... More

We reserved at Robert on a night that turned out to be rainy, and the view over the park and streets below was magical just the same. The food and service were good, but for the price you pay you would expect that-- what really sticks out to me is the view.

The restaurant is located on a 9th floor of building on a Columbus circle. Should you manage to book a table next to windows you will have spectacular views over central park, so book ahead. Service is on a very high level, food is delicious, but not special.

This was our first Robert experience. We were seated at a window table overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park. We had trouble deciding on what to order; it all looked wonderful. Ended up starting with the octopus and burrata. Both were incredible. Entrees were the striped bass and filet. Again, both were excellent; the filet rivaled any steak enjoyed anywhere.... More

Robert is a modern American restaurant housed within the Museum of Arts and Design with an amazing view of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Enjoy dinner and a bottle of fine wine from our collection in our beautifully designed dining room. Have a seat in our lounge next to our baby grand piano and sip one of our cocktails.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
