Having just docked at 50th St. and 12 Ave. it was an easy walk to meet friends for brunch. (We were on a cruise ship sailing from England) The food was good, drink specials for brunch and service was also good. The 5 of us set in a corner and were able to chat and stay a couple of hours.... More

For the appetizer, we tried Lamb Chili Smothered Tots – they were great! Lots of cheddar & jack cheese. As a main course, my husband ordered Bison Meatloaf with stout gravy. I went for the Grilled Wild Boar Chops served with fresh pumpkin pasta & wild mushrooms. Excellent wine and beer choices. For desert, Pumpkin cheesecake with candied walnuts and... More

We ate at Brickyard on a Sunday evening after the NYC Marathon. Needless to say, we were hungry and tired. I really can't say anything great about the server except she got the job done. Minimal effort at best. The food was tasty, though, and the room in back was quiet enough. (The front room with bar was pretty noisy.)... More

Our food was ok, restaurant is nice but pretty dark. Fried were delicious, I ordered the fish fry and it was ok. The Caesar salad was very good, sliders were not a big hit with my husband. Our waitress was pleasant.

Every time I've been to this place, I've had nothing but a great time and great service. Both the employees and the patrons alike are very likable. Its a great place to watch and talk about sports!

What can I say? This gastropub is just great. You can indulge yourself with a great choice of beers. Next to that, you can enjoy really nice dishes to eat. The bar is cosy and the dining room full of atmosphere.

I came here with a very diverse group (husband, parents, aunts, cousin) and everyone loved it! I called ahead and Kevin was very accommodating in seating us by a TV where we could watch a baseball game. The restaurant itself is great... fun but not too loud. The beer list was extensive. And the food was delicious! We loved all... More

We visited this bar over the course of a few nights as it was near our accommodation during our stay in NYC. What serendipity it was to find this little gem! From the outside, it looks like an upmarket sports-type bar, and you wouldn't be wrong to assume so. However, what sets it apart from the competition is the great... More

Looks like a typical sports bar w multiple TV's but don't be fooled, the beverages and food are fantastic. Very gluten free friendly with nice beer selection and a gluten fee menu. Also nice vegan options . Cauliflower was wonderful. Bangers and mash rocked . Brick pressed chicken w grits was great. Grass fed burger sans bun was a hit.... More

Four of us recently dined here and on the whole we all really enjoyed the food, pretty good menu with generous portions and of a good standard as well. Great beer selection as well. Staff all very friendly. Thought it was a wee bit expensive for what it was but on the whole very enjoyable.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
