Good food and friendly staff always make for a pleasant experience. We were tired and hungry after a long day of traveling and wanted something quick but satisfying. This place fit the bill. We would return.

We tried this little place out while on a recent family visit to NYC with our teenage son. There is a bar area up front with small dining room on the back. We opted for the dining room and all had their beef burgers with fries. Delicious! We also tried the chocolate bread pudding with bacon creme anglaise. It was... More

We enjoyed an early meal before seeing The Jersey Boys in a nearby theatre. Food was lovely, my burger was cooked to perfection and really tasty. The sweet potato fries were amazing! Great food and beer menu and very friendly and helpful staff.

Brickyard Gastropub was mentioned in the NYC Forum on TripAdvisor as a good place to try late at night. My friends and I walked to it after a night at the theater. The staff was friendly and quick to take our orders. There were several TVs throughout the bar, so it was easy to follow the Hockey Game. I tried... More

Fortunately this place is not what we know as a so called Gastro pub in the UK, as those places have a reputation for pretentious overpriced food and an inability to keep beer properly. Instead it's a proper bar with great burgers and a really impressive Craft beer list, both on draft and in bottles. We phoned ahead to book... More

Ordered a build your own burger - added sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions. Garlic aioli for sauce. Upgraded to truffle Parmesan fries on the side. All I can say is that I'll remember this meal for a long time. We had had a few bad dining experiences preceding this, so it made it that much better. Honestly the best burger... More

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We did not have a reservation, but the hostess managed to squeeze us in. The two adults had 'Build Your Own Burgers', which were great. Our daughters (9 and 6) had chicken wings (fantastic) and a burger. The kids burger appeared to be the same size as the adult... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
