Pinche is a simple restaurant where most of the seating is outside. Great use of space, there's outside seating for 40 or so with an additional seating at the bar for 15-20. The service staff is attentive, the food is good and the cocktail are great and it's inexpensive, what more can you ask for. with the option of walking... More

Tasty authentic Mexican fare. Reasonable prices. Good atmosphere (even outside on sidewalk seating!).

Great Mexican Food and at a very reasonable price. The burritos are very filling. Seating space is limited if the outdoor seating is not open due to weather and service is not that great, but for top quality food on the cheap. It can't be beat!

Ever since we threw out Benny's Burritos for our office lunch schedule, we moved to Pinche Taqueria. We haven't had an issues with Pinche yet, but we do always have our problems ordering. Items come in with out any labels, they can't hear us, they don't understand us, we don't understand them, there's always something. I've had the shrimp quesadilla... More

We moved from Texas 7 months ago and we've been missing the real Mexican flavors we ate every day there... this place tastes like those flavors!! We just went because it was conveniently close to a club we were going to, but we will be making the trip just to visit this tiny taco hut!! Amazing. We had 5 or... More

I've lost count how many times I've eaten at Pinche. Before it, I thought Chipotle was Mexican food. After it, I no longer eat at Chipotle. Their soft tacos are handmade and delicious. The fish taco is the best I've had: Deep-fried fish balls, cabbage, cilantro, and onion. Nothing else. So simple, yet so so delicious. You need to get... More

I had been looking for a good Mexican place in the city, and my friend and I after work one day happened upon this place. The food looked good, so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did, I had the tamale platter with a side of guacamole and chips. I liked the tamale, but... More

We came here because we saw the great reviews. It is a tiny place but great tacos and about $2.50 a piece. Only a few tables to sit at but grab some tacos and go sit outside and enjoy!!

Staying in Nolita

Neighborhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighborhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighborhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
