amazing bar scene with lots of attractive customers, but seriously, get the grilled cheese. they use a blend gruyere cheese and cheddar. it's so divine. perfect to share while having a few drinks.

Busy informal bar with a great vibe. Nice staff, good choice of wines and beers and one of the best burgers we had in NY. The place gets busy and the seating is a little limited, and they don't take reservations so you may have to wait for a table if you plan to eat.

The only two good things I can say about this place are service and pulled pork sliders. Alcohol choice is limited, wine is served in juice glasses (I get it, you try to be innovative, but there's a reason why wine tastes best when in proper glass), pickles are SPICY and sour. The place gets so packed that you literally... More

Great bar run by two Irish lads. Serves a good selection of beers and the place always seems to have a party atmosphere.

Great little place to stop in for a few quiets and some quality bar food. The hosts are very welcoming to travellers and the regulars very personable and inviting. Would highly recommend stopping by to any travellers visiting the West Village.

Wonderful experience at an affordable price. Love the hustling and bustling crowd. No reservations are taken and has the table sharing system. Gives an opportunity to meet new people. Ordered the bourbon buck drink and was really good. Will certainly revisit.

Had the best cheeseburger and fries ever. I would come back. Loved the cute booths. When you go to N. Y. it's worth stopping in.

We came here just before going to a jazz session in Smalls. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Good burguer. Nice place to come back another time.

A delightful bar/restaurant favored by local West Villagers. A great place for visitors to experience the wonderful local vibe. Great place to enjoy a drink with or without a light meal or snacks

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
