Ive been to Craft twice and it was outstanding on both visits. Originally, I didn't know it was a Tom Coliccio restaurant, but have new respect for the man based on my experiences at Craft. My favorite item was the whole suckling pig. Different portions of the pig were prepared in different ways as all placed together on a beautiful... More

My Wife and I came here while visiting NYC on Honeymoon, after reading several reviews we booked up for thanksgiving and what a delight. The location is really nice and the look of the restaurant itself is stunning, very cool atmosphere! The staff are extremely well trained and very polite, we had our jackets taken and sat at the bar... More

We had our normal thanksgiving dinner here and this place always is a great place to get together with family & friends for a great meal and a great time. Thanksgiving is prixe fixe, but they offer entree selections of turkey, red meat, or fish.

Had dinner here with friends and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Started with the beef tartare and the pasta with pork belly apps, then three of us had fish (black fish and sea bass) while I had the flat iron steak. All were delicious. House comped us some broccoli rabe that was fantastic. Dessert was those donuts and... More

Ate thanksgiving dinner at craft. Good part was food was great. Bad part we were rushed. When the waiter first visited us he wanted our enter choice foe prefixed menu. We asked for time and ordered a drink for my wife and a bottle of rose. Waiter came up twice to get our choice and finally gave in. Had our... More

Opted to eat Thanksgiving Dinner out this year and Craft was the choice. Fixed menu turkey, venison or bass and side dishes for the table. They put out an excellent Thanksgiving spread. The only thing missing was a couch to fall asleep on while watching football.

The tables are way too close together. We had to listen ad nauseam to the guy at the table next to us about Donald Trump, and his ex-girlfriend, and his new girlfriend, etc. The food was average for the cost and everything had too much salt. Including our appetizer. We are big 'Top Chef' fans so we expected so much... More

Joined friends for dinner at Craft and it really was wonderful. Meat and fish courses all round were a real treat and they accommodated one of our group who had to avoid gluten with zero fuss. Our waiter for the evening was a delight - seasoned veteran of the restaurant scene and utterly charming with it. Wine list was expensive... More

Outstanding all around. Great setting and atmosphere with very friendly and knowledgable staff. Clever mix and match menu makes it easy to sample a few dishes and share. Had the good timing to be there for white truffles and enjoyed these on their delicious risotto. Topped it off with Barolo by the glass and felt like we were in Italy!... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
