Came out of the Baths, on a sunny Sunday, hungry and in need of something good and close by. Thankfully the online menu looked ideal. After a 1 minute walk, we were seated inside at the perfect window corner table. The bread and olive oil were delicious! We both randomly selected the BLT which included an organic salad. Could not... More

I've eaten in many Italian restaurants in NYC and in Europe and our meal was up there. The Fettuccini bolognese was the tastiest and the cold avadocado soup was superb on a hot summer night. Bread was terrific as was the oil oil. Be sure to try the generous sized white sangria! We found no fault with our waiter who... More

Visited on 17th with family. My 16yr old needs gluten free and they prepared a nice carbonara and gluten free pasta. Starters and mains were both full of flavour, and the mozzarella was excellent. All good!

Found this place in the neighborhood of theater we were going to that evening. Place was empty- it was 5:30. Good menu, great options for dining, lovely space. Could hardly get a waiter to take order, deliver food, or see if we were fine during the service. Please note there were only 8 people ( 3 tables) eating in the... More

Had dinner and with so many great Italian restaurants this is not one of them. Ordered a cheese plate and it tasted like the cheeses had sat out for days. They give you grape jam with it that tastes like Welches. Pastas were both just ok...lacked salt and flavor. Service very nice but food needs major work.

My wife and I went here for a pre-theatre meal since we sere seeing a show at Soho Rep. The vibe is very casual and local friendly. We started with the Toscana, White Beans & Flavorful Rosemary Pecorino Bruschetta. I could have had 3 more plates of it it was so tasty. I then had the Tortellini in Brodo, Chicken... More

Ah, the fortuity of life smiled upon me! I stumbled on this small Italian restaurant during a recent trip to NYC for business and am both hugely glad I did, and looking forward to going back on purpose! This is a smallish place, wonderful decor, quiet atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff. I was enjoying a New York moment just... More

After walking the Brooklin bridge, we stooped at Petrarca. What a hidden gem! This restaurant serves authentic Italian food at a reasonable price. Wine list is also very good. Service is amazing. We ate a Linguine Di Sepia and a Orecchiette Broccoli e Salsiccia. Banana split for desert.

The food is excellent. I had the cannelloni and my husband had the lasagna. The noodles were very light and homemade and not doughy. The only thing, everything is ala carte so no salad came with it. I had the homemade sangria which was very good.

Neighborhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
