Atmosphere delightful-service curteous BUT very slow-food very tasty HOWEVER portions were incredibly tiny-Also all courses had to be returned once or twice being served COLD even after returning them for that reason! Prices would be justifyable IF portions were normal and food served normally hot.

The food and service here are some of the best. From beginning to end the flavors of the food were memorable. This was a special occasion meal for us. The food (and prices) are indulgent, but commensurate with the quality.

My husband and I recently ate here during a vacation to New York City. We were staying nearby and decided to book a table in the Tap Room on Open Table. The restaurant confirmed our booking via telephone. The service was brilliant, staff were really helpful and offered suggestions on what to eat. We both had pizza and it was... More

Staying in NYC for 4th of July weekend near the High Line so trying out local eateries. Was expecting a much better offering from this highly reviewed restaurant. Given that there were only 5 appetizer choices, 3 pizzas and perhaps 8 entrees of which 2 were a sandwich and a burger I did not expect a 40 page beverage book.... More

Colicchio & Sons is a great spot for dinner in a quiet area of the city. Located in Chelsea, this hipster-esque dining experience is for friends and romantics alike. We had a 10pm reservation, but upon arrival, we were immediately told that the kitchen was closing, so we needed to order quickly. We ordered drinks- Punch Drunk & Gin and... More

When you talk about pretentious you have reached the apex here. It is so overrated, with s menu that is flat and a wine list that is do expensive that it is ridiculous. The menu is so way out with concoctions that don't seem to gel it's highly "fetching." At the end we (3 international foodies) decided to leave as... More

We had great service the moment we walked in the door. The place was open and spacious and well lit. Food was delicious and we received a delicious packaged complimentary muffin on the way out. They will even give you a tour of the place. Located very close the high line.

Recommended by a friend from Miami . Amazing experience in a very sophisticated art deco restaurant with great food and very nice people. Would easily go back again.

Had a late Friday (9:30 pm) booking for 6. Table was available and ready by the time we arrived. Restaurant was full and had a great ambiance. Food was very good although not certain pizza fits in this type of restaurant, but there it was, three different pizzas - would have liked more variety instead of this NY staple. Service... More
