2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Cold lumpy oatmeal came in seconds from ordering. Waiter seemed to want to get people served and out quickly so paid no attention to customer needs. Coffee was weak and watery and the customers seemed to randomly get top up if waitress was not too busy flirting with waiters . Greasy fried egg in a muffin was poor . How... More

Just around the corner from the Waldorf Astoria, where we chose not to eat the Waldorf’s expensive buffet breakfast, preferring a genuine New York diner with table service. Simply good fun, nice breakfast, good choice of options, endless coffee, charming service. All good.

Service was brisk and we felt rushed the entire meal. We ordered the western omellette and a Greek omelette that were probably the worst we have ever eaten. Over salted and lacking in ingredients and the toast arrived cold.

Strolled down for breakfast and our party of six were seated immediately. Service was great. Food was very good. We all agreed to go back another morning. One person wanted lunch and they were nice enough to accommodate her wishes without hesitation. I think their waffles are better than their pancakes, but both are good. Casual neighborhood feel.

No frills midtown diner. Get yourself a lumberjack breakfast and enjoy it's goodness. Delicious French toast, good service.

Delicious food (breakfast was amazing) and great dinners. Wine list could do with expanding (only 1 white/red variant). The breakfasts are huge and really tasty. Great value and perfect service. Go early though, queues are stretching down the road by 9am.

This was round the corner from our hotel and we had breakfast here every day. Good choice of food, served quickly, friendly staff. Never a dirty or uncleared table in sight.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
