We were met by a very friendly hostess and seated promptly. A nice cozy atmosphere with moderate energy. The service started a bit slow as only one waiter on our side of the restaurant though he was very friendly. Enjoy a Tapas style dinner or...More

The wine here is really good, especially the Spanish Tempranillo. Else it is very romantic as well. As always every place in New York it is expensive.

My sister and her partner took me here; seems they are frequent patrons. In spite of the French name, this restaurant serves Turkish food. I had zucchini-walnut pancakes with a dollop of Turkish yogurt, and they was delicious. Yes, the service is a little slow--it's...More

This place has decent food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance with a lot of candles and a fire place! We were also impressed with the wine selection. We will definitely go back.

We decided to meet a few friends here last night. When we got there our reserved table was waiting for us even though we weren't all present, but once we were seated no one bothered to come by to take our drink order. We had...More

We arrive at this quaint restaurant with high hopes as it is close to our apartment and it is very warm and friendly. First, the waiter was pushing the lamb chops, so we order them and the bartender comes over and says we are out...More

the food was great and the staff was very friendly. we had a birthday dinner - they let us bring our own cake at no extra charge like in some restaurants - served it nicely. The service seemed slow at times, but otherwise very friendly....More

I don't know how many times I've been there but each time has been a great treat. The friendly owner Orhan and the wait staff are the best and most accommodating; the wine list satisfies the French wine snob in me and the food is...More

I typically only use trip advisor for hotel recommendations, but really love this restaurant so wanted to share my praise. It's located in a great location in Chelsea just north of West Village in a very chic, cozy environment. The service is attentive and friendly...More

Pierre Loti's Chelsea location is outfitted much like its Irving Place sister spot, with a vaguely Turkish vibe and quaint outdoor seating in front. The long space has minimal decoration, with the exception of two star-shaped mirrors adorning the walls, and one long cushion with tables lined in front. The menu is studded with wine-friendly bites and cheeses, but there are also eclectic options like stuffed sardines and bulgur patties . There's a servicable entree list which includes a tasty pan-seared jumbo sea scallops with sauteed asparagus. The winelist offers about 70 bottles, 20 of which are also available by the glass.
