Escape the bustle of the city and rediscover the romance of the sea at The Fulton, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten newest eatery located at Pier 17. The Fulton, located at Pier 17, is the chef’s first seafood restaurant and in an area of the city Vongerichten fell in love with when he first encountered the energy of the former Fulton Fish Market in 1986. With a hat tip to that history, Chef Vongerichten has created a menu focused on the best ingredients and the bounty of the ocean and beyond. The restaurant’s waterfront setting and modern industrial interiors offer a singular New York dining experience, featuring patio seating with some of the best unobstructed views of the Brooklyn Bridge.

We arrived an hour early for our reservation and the hostess Crystal was wonderful. She got us a table outside with a view. Our server Tim was on top of his game and had suggested the Warm Octopus and Fresh Mozzarella (Lemon Zest, Sea Salt...More
New kid on the block The Fulton came with great expectations. JG has some stellar restaurants, and The Fulton's location is hard to beat: right on the river, with views towards the Brooklyn Bridge or across the East River. Maybe because it's relatively new, but...More
Four of us had a mediocre meal at The Fulton. The tuna tartare and fluke crudo were delicious. But no serving utensils were brought and the waitress knew the orders were to share. Also no spoon makes it hard to get to the delicious sauce....More
As a birthday treat, a friend took me to the Fulton, a new sea food restaurant opened recently at South St Seaport overlooking the East River. The food was divine-the salmon was the best I have ever had-succulent, juicy, encrusted with coriander seeds and bathed...More
Tried this place on Pier 17 because of the rep of Jean-Georges.We were lucky to have an outside table with a fabulous Brooklyn Bridge view. Every dish was expertly prepared and delicious. That is when we got them. The server appeared to be a total...More
Tried it out last night - flexible host who sat us earlier than our reservation time so started out well. But our server must have been distracted by the large (and loud) big table next to us so forgot to put our appetizer order. We...More
This new restaurant is a good place to visit if you enjoy seafood and like fusion cuisine. The view from upstairs is also nice. The brunch selection, however, is disappointing and I recommend going there for dinner instead of brunch.
I don't know how this place has gotten any good reviews, except that if you're at Pier 17 to see a concert you're captive because it's the only restaurant.
Food was actually decent but the experience was laughable. Seriously a joke.
Start with the incompetent...More
As a born and raised New Yorker, I've seen the changes that Pier 17 has gone through. From the 3am fish deliveries that used to be the Fulton fish market, to the rattlesnake pasta at the Pizzeria Uno; I've had a lot of memories at...More
