We were on our way to eat dinner at Another restaurant and decided at the last minute to give this place a try and am I ever glad we did. The food is amazing. I ordered the chicken pot pie it is a favourite at this diner and they usually run out it is so good. The food was amazing,... More

We had just arrived in Times Square and we were hungry. Not really knowing where things were and the degree of our hunger, here stood The Brooklyn Diner. In we went, and we're seated within seconds. Ordered our drinks, that arrived shortly after ordering. We then both ordered burgers because the menu said Best Burgers in New York City. We... More

Over priced and underwhelmed. After having something floating in my coffee cream, there was a hair in my oj. Eggs were not cooked to order, bagel was hard and dense, not a NY bagel, while breakfast sausage was house made it had a questionable taste. Service wasn't much better, waited a long time for replacement coffee cream, silverware and replacement... More

We were here awhile back while the area was under quite a bit of construction, and I am just remembering it now and getting hungry looking at the menu! I had the pea soup which was delicious, and I ordered the baked Mac and Cheese which came with 3 big strips of pastrami over it. It had a delicious baked... More

Staff were quick, atmosphere was good, both burgers we had were very greasy, we could not finish either, fries were nice.

Only in NYC would one find a diner with servers in ties but offering diner food along with a nice short wine and beer list! Of course location in theatre district near at least three Broadway theatres does not hurt. Warning - chicken pot pie is for couples or a football player. Cheesecake is to die for at least for... Nice place to go before going to the theater! We had good service & huge serving sizes! Waiter made great recommendations to try the Chicken Parm & Fruit Cheesecake.

This Diner is conveniently located just off Times Square. It's modern, clean and comfortable; albeit somewhat small. The food selection is reasonable; not like a Diner and more expensive than a Diner. That's not unexpected though, given the location. We went there around 6:30 PM on a Saturday, and only had to wait around 15 minutes to get a table.... More

We had super hamburgers, an ok chicken and pasta dish and an amazingly large appetizer of hummus (would recommend). Little atmosphere as they put the larger (we were 6) parties in the back with no view but the waitress station.

It's a long story why we kept returning, but suffice it to say it was worth it. You don't need one, but if you reserve through Open Table you'll be treated like royalty. Rich, the maitre d', and our fav server, Genevieve, really enhanced our experience. Very professional, yet fun. The food is very very good. The portions are ENORMOUS...I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
