My wife and I ate breakfast here Sat. 1/30. The food was good but honestly, I've had better for less and the menu we felt didn't offer enough variety. The tables were way to close together...I'm talking almost elbow to elbow close. We could clearly hear the conversations of people who were seated at the tables next to ours. At... More

We were walking all morning and were very hungry by the time we got to Time Square. there was so much to take in and we had no idea of where to eat and all of a sudden there it was. We figured we would try it. We were greeted and seated in minutes by a very polite gentleman. Shortly... More

Great place, great atmosphere & lovely food! Really pleased we visited the Brooklyn Diner. Pastrami Hash was delicious and my hubby loved his Smoked Salmon Bagel Tower.

We were walking around Time Square and needed a place to eat and to get out of the cold. Discovered this wonderful diner. They accommodated glutenfree needs. Had the best chicken pot pie ever and it was gigantic. Service was very good.

Arrived at the diner at 8.30 am to find our guest already seated and served a beverage. That was good because it was over an hour before someone came to take our order - and that was after asking twice for service. We ordered a very simple meal poached eggs, bacon and toast - well-toasted. By the time our food... More

Stopped for lunch before we left New York. I had the BLT sandwich and my partner had the BBQ chicken. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great friendly service. Conveniently near Times Square - a great place to stop after sightseeing!

This diner is delicious. The staff was friendly and was even able to find us a spot at the last minute. On top of that they are open late and serve breakfast all day. Win win

Omg!! New year at the Brookyln diner was just the absolute best! You had access to the street right in front of the ball drop! The street is blocked off after about 1pm and the only people who are allowed in the street are people with passes. The food was great, the staff were energetic and joyful and you could... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
