Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.

Great service and food preparation

This year's restaurant menu has been lacking. I've been coming at least 3x a year for restaurant week with Nougatine. My favorite was the tuna tartar that has been taken off the restaurant week menu. All the dishes including the flounder were prepared very elegantly and very tasty.

Wonderful evening! We were so lucky to get the table the same day, we couldn't believe it! We had classic tasting menu. Every dish was prepared excellent! My favorite was lobster tartine and we had amazing bites at the beginning! I loved the service, which was very attentive, but not annoying. The atmosphere is so relaxing and comfortable, but at... I have been here more times than I can remember, maybe every other month since 2008! And it's my all time NYC favourite restaurant. The service is impeccable, making a phone reservation is always a pleasure, as they remember your phone number and know what you have ordered before. The food is classic, but innovative at the same time. Quality... More

Excellent food and services. Especially their brunch. The French toast is a must try item, couldn't find the same in the other places. Must call to make reservation.

This was our first time here. Came with our daughter and son-in-law, before going to Broadway play. We sat at a table in the bar area, which was less expensive but food was still terrific. Great choices!

This is my second visit to Jean Georges, and yes, as you'd expect, it's very good. I brought my mom who's never been to a restaurant with even one Michelin star, let alone three. She's not a very fancy eater, and there were a few requests she made of the waiters (that made me groan, but she likes what she... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menus and wine pairings. Flawless food and service. Expensive, but absolutely worth. We can't wait to return!

It has nothing to do with TRUMP tower...it just rents the space and has two odd tables that are completely hidden away in enclaves that assures privacy and are very comfortable...its relatively small and with modern furniture but you really come here for the excellent food and wine

As a frequent guest of Trump International I am occasionally forced to go to Jean-Georges. Were it not the need for nutrition I would never, ever go there. The haughty greeters stand mindlessly in the front atrium with looks on their faces that suggest they are daring you ask for a table. The food is bland and unimaginative and the... More
