Very good breakfast experience in a packed down to earth NY diner. Good selection, with lots of typical entrees. Good service as well.

Stopped in the diner because it was close to our hotel. Server was horrible. Drinks stayed empty almost the entire lunch - we had to ask for refills with the server passing by. My ham and cheese was minus the ham. Cheese was not melted on the potato skins. Sorry we stopped in

We stopped here after a looooooong day walking around Manhattan. It was our first diner experience. It was average to be honest. My food was average, my partners slightly better. I can see the appeal, it's quick and cheap. Filled a hole but wouldn't return. Staff were all nice.

Enjoyed our breakfast here. We came here on the way to Rockefeller after parking the car on the street few blocks away. Our waitress, Amanda, was very good. Seems like a lot of tourists come here too because it's in the heart of the city and a place to eat. We came here on weekend so a lot more tourists... More

This is a good option if you are in the times square area as it is just a few blocks away and you know it will be good food at a reasonable price. We had lunch and it was quite good. Should have gone there for breakfast the day we had oatmeal, orange juice and coffee at the Algonquin for... More

it looks like a classic american diner, if you are inside you could forget that you are in NY with it's stylish shops and restaurants ;-) Matter of taste but i like it! The food is good, the staff is very friendly and FAST! And the best is that the prices are really good for NY conditions.

This is a greek style diner in a very good location in Manhattan that offers a wide variety of Greek and American cuisine. We never encountered a line and the food is quite good. Our waitress, Dimitra, has worked here for 16 years and is a top notch waitress, making the experience that much better. And she is bilingual (Greek).... More

The Red Flame Diner has always been a convent choice for breakfast because it resides on the same block as the hotel I stay in when I'm in NY. I began going to the restaurant about 8 years ago. I used to really enjoy breakfast there. The eggs were always fresh and the food looked appetizing. In the 8 years... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
