Listed in the top 10 list for whole pizza in NYC and it does not disappoint. We have a buffala that was a special and a simple margher... Both were fantastic. Pizza size is kind of a tweener. Not big enough to share but not small enough for one. My teen daughter and I had two pizzas. I think the... More

I ate here with my son who was visiting from the UK, and who wanted to have pizza in NYC. I've lived here for five years, and I am tired of eating at the old school NYC pizza places where the pizzas are enormous, smothered in red sauce, and lack any finesse. Googled for ages before deciding on Motorino, and... More

I believe that Motorino has thee best pizza in New York. I know many people have their opinions and that's great. But for me, Motorino is the best! The crust is simply delicious and the sauce is great. They can make many different varieties, but I like the red peppers the best. The restaurant is small and gets crowded quickly.... More

Pizza's really tasty, first time trying pecorino. Payed for arugula as an extra but it was not included in my order.

After reading a very good review on timeout we visited Motorino hoping to have some tasty pizzas after a busy day exploring NYC. Sadly, what we experienced did not meet our expectations at all. Whilst the service was friendly, it was at times very intrusive; the young guy whose only job seemed to be to top up diner's water glasses... More

We are here on Saturday night. The location is great and a great vibe. The staff are wonderful. We both ordered pizza. Not the best pizza but ok.

The proscuitto and arugla pizza is beyond compare...well worth the nearly 2800 mile trip. I love GOOD pizza and have tried it across the USA and Europe and so far this is the best !!!

You wont be disappointed with the pizza or the place. One of the best in "new Neapolitan" style pizzas. A blended approach of traditional neopolitan crust and cooking with interesting toppings as options. Try the brussel spout pizza Crust has great flavor, pull and texture. Toppings are fresh and authentic imports. House sparkling Rose wine is a perfect compliment to... More

This place is tiny, and the small tables makes you feel like you're in Paris! The food is huge so order to share, the two of us had two pizza's, a green salad and a dish of clams, and it was overall good. Arrive early to get a seat as it was packed by about 6:30pm for dinner.

My family considers themselves pizza connoiseurs. We plan trips around which pizza places we can hit. Motorino's did not disappoint! Service was friendly and fast, with a nice selection of drinks and appetizers. The meatballs were amazing!! The crust was cooked perfectly, my favorite was the brussel sprout with the mushroom a close second. Don't miss this spot!

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
