after a busy day in New York, we went here for some food. The food was amazing with something for everyone, including vegetarians, fish eaters and meat lovers. A bit small but the service was great, with the host Isaac proving to be very amiable and lots of fun. The food arrived and was amazing with all of us enjoying... More

The restaurant was quirky and the food was amazing. But I wouldn't deviate off the menu as the alcohol is expensive and you don't really get a choice as Isaac just comes out with a beer. Before you know it a huge bill with a big gratuity . The food is worth a visit but don't deviate . The restaurant... More

Every thing including the food was good until we needed an explanation on the bill and suddenly attitudes changed. Won't rush back there anytime soon. Shame!

Food average. Portions OK. Quirky place on 9th Ave. Our experience has left a very bad tasty. Looking at the prices outside all looked very reasonable so we went in. All good. A beer? Yes please - no choice just came back with a bottle of First. Not bad - but $10 plus tax. Red wine please - a glass... More

Oh my. Got in late from San Francisco and hungry. This was around the corner from Four Points in Time Square. This is old school but incredible food. This is the grilled calamari in a Rosemarie sauce. You will never have better.

I've been going to New York frequently on business for 40 years, but this has become the ONE restaurant I HAVE to try to visit on every trip. Everything about Casa do Isacco says, "This place is a real discovery!" I've taken native New Yorkers there, who are consistently surprised by it. It's very small (someone said 8 tables) and... You can't see into this restaurant from the street, so you might be embarrassed to poke your head in to case the joint. But you'll likely be happy with what you discover: an eight-table long room with every square inch decorated with paintings, photos, wine bottles, panetone boxes, Christmas bulbs, statuettes, etc. The exterior is similar, with greenery spilling out... Cheese ravioli was very good and the chicken parm was quite tasty. Small space with not a lot of seating.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
