About
You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm and truly makes the customer feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible. Executive Chef Craig Cupani has created a contemporary American menu that sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

Went there just before Bruce Springsteen on Broadway. Didn't have much time, ordered Portobello Sandwich, Draft beer. Both were very good. Service at the bar. Bartender attentive. Table seating also available. My visit was early evening around 6pm. I would recommend this tavern based on...More

We were here for evening drinks and snacks. The service was great and the appetizers that we had were great as well as a fully stocked and plentiful bar!

We just enjoyed another fantastic lunch at Glass House Tavern. We have been coming here whenever we are in the city. We have been enjoying this great restaurant since they first opened (9 years ago?) and have never been disappointed in the food. Everything is...More

Quiet little place before or after the theatre. Menu was nice though a little limited, service was good and ambience was pleasant.

Received a recommendation to visit The Glass House Tavern prior to going to a matinee on broadway. We were very glad that we did. We arrived and we were seated upstairs overlooking the lower level of the restaurant. The climate and decor were perfectly warm...More

Friends chose this restaurant and we were a bit disappointed about it’s lack of ethnic flavor but it was really quite a good choice. They obviously cater to the theater group and without rushing make certain you get to your play on time. They are...More

A group of six of us got together for a hybrid causal/biz dinner. This was a tad quieter than the usual spot in the theater district. Dinner was perfectly paced given we didn't have a show and the food was quite good and the service...More

Although we arrived early, they were able to seat us immediately. We had an upstairs window table with an excellent view. The decor and lighting were warm and relaxing. We each started with salads, and would advise not to skip this course. They were the...More

I had to think twice about leaving this review. The management begged us not to leave a bad review, however I genuinely feel that our experience was so bad it needs to be noted. Service was terrible. The waiter didn’t bring a wine list. I...More

As I recall, it wasn't very expensive, maybe $12-15 each. But, honestly, you can find a better restaurant!

Dress at Glass House Tavern is nice casual. Definitely not shirt and tie but sweater and decent pants are perfect. Call them for the Thanksgiving menu or check online. Definitely make a reservation.
