I've only been here for breakfast so far, but I keep coming back every time I'm in NYC. Their granola is, great, taste one of their fresh juices or go for an excellent egg-based breakfast.

The location is great and the summer terrace is really nice, however the food was not as good a usually... next time will stay with chealsy market's tacos or any other option in dc. Very expensive for the quality, or they are just charging for beinga chic place?

My friend and I had brunch here and we both ordered the huevos rancheros because we love chorizo and the menu said that the dish had it. But there was not even a hint of chorizo. The waitress said it was ground very fine. Huh??? What is that, chorizo powder? Really??? Iy was not worth $18 for chips, eggs, and... More

Ate here 5 times whilst on business for a week in New York, and staying at the Standard Hotel. Mix of breakfasts and dinners. Very nice atmosphere, especially the courtyard area. A bit on the pricy side but the service and food quality was consistently good and attentive. I am staying again next month and will return for sure!

Went with a colleague and friend on a Friday evening. The place was packed with young and less young folks. You need to have a table booking if you want to be seated within a reasonable time frame. We got lucky with a perfect table and enjoyed good, friendly and efficient service. Cuisine was acceptable, perhaps not world class, yet... More

Our party was 10 people; 5 adults and 5 teenagers. We sat outside along the street. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. We had the turkey sandwich (pictured), hamburger, chicken salad, frittata, avocado toast with poached eggs, and pancakes. All of the food was excellent and the service was even better. We were unusually demanding with changes after the... More

We booked the restaurant in advance and I'm glad we did because restaurant was really packed! I loved the food and cocktails were delicious. The waiter wqs great to recommend the cocktails. The grilled octopus was absolutely yummy with a nice char grill taste to it. It can get quite noisy but i loved it as it felt vibrant! Would... More

So you can eat inside or outside. We chose inside and it was lovely inside, with mirrors, round booth tables, nice pots and retro salt and pepper shakers. Good was really good and service too Best place to start the high line walk

By far one of the best meals of my lift. It was worth every penny. The food was exceotional, as was the service and decor. I can't fault it at all! The chocolate mousse was to die for (it nearly killed us) we're now trying to recover! Go there!

This place is very impressive from the outset. Beautiful old dark and rich decor, with mood lighting and beautiful furniture. The food was pretty impressive too, and the wine list extensive... unfortunately, the service does not match the place. I had a standoff-ish waitress who rolled her eyes when I said I was gluten-free but wanted to have an option... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
