- Hi, I am wondering is you have any gluten free food? Barista: - gluten? What is it? Calories? - wow... Just a latte please.

Had a couple of coffees. Had to pour 1/3 of the coffee out so we could put enough milk to counter the strength of the coffee...way, way too strong. Was going to get a croissant but they looked like they had been there for a week. Not impressed.

We visited Trump Tower to see what all the fuss is about. An underwhelming experience. There is precious little seating at this Starbucks so the only draw is the fact you are in Trump Tower. The service was swift and the coffee acceptable but that is the end of it. You are in the lobby of a garish building that... More

There seems to always be a line at this Starbucks, but it goes quickly. The seating area is small so it is best to take it to go.

By no means was this a bad place, but just so much less tasty and original compared to all the great coffee joints around every corner. Probably won't visit any Starbucks again even when I'm desperate as I was in this case.

Nearly 30 minutes to purchase a hot chocolate and flat white. Flat white turned up 20 minutes after the hot chocolate despite them being ordered together. Witnessed this happening to customers prior to and following our order.

Yet another mid-town location that struggles to get the right food to the right people. While service was fairly speedy for a mid-town location, accuracy seems to be the trade-off.

Everything you expect from a Starbucks, except a few sleeping people of questionable status. Regardless, no problems and good coffee.

Midtown New York is inundated with Starbucks. They are all roughly offering the same product. Long lines are the norm. No sense tipping because the barista won't know if you tipped or not. Tipping gets you no extra service. You wait like the multitude does.

As a first timer to NYC, it can be intimidating. The staff at this Starbucks went above and beyond to help us not only have great beverages, but also helped us find our way on a map and carefully packed breakable souvenirs to take with us.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
