A good diner, very nice inside (looks recently renovated) however it took 15 minutes after we were finished eating to get a check and it certainly wasn't cheap. We got more/better food for the same price (if not slightly lower) at Scotty's Diner down the road.

We had eggs Benedicte and pancakes for breakfast, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Beware that tip is automatically deducted at the cashier!! We ended up tipping 30%, as we did not realise they had already deducted the tip after we payed (although it was not included in the total sum on the bill). Still I recommend this diner.

They had the place renovated, but the staff remains as friendly as ever. Meals are well served. The times I've been there, it was not crowded, so service was fast and you could enjoy your time.

My husband and I accidentally found the Murray Hill Diner while visiting that area of NYC. We stopped in for breakfast and immediately noticed 2 things - it was crowded and the food smelled delicious. Although it is quite tight in the restaurant, especially when it is prime breakfast time, the service was good, the coffee was great, and the... More

This is a classic big breakfast place: fluffy pancakes, huge omelets, crunchy home fries, good coffee, generous fruit cup, all at a reasonable price (for midtown). I tried the omelet with tomatoes and avocado--a slightly weird combo, but tasty nonetheless. A good choice for breakfast near Koreatown.

Visited with family of 6. Menu is HUGE--would imagine everyone can find something on to order on this menu. Each person in our party ordered different things: pancakes, burgers, corned beef sandwiches, meatloaf, chicken gyro, NY strip. The pancakes and sandwich were by far the best dishes. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again, especially for breakfast. Diner was within walking distance... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
